APPLICATION DESCRIPTION:

Sterilizer is designed for steam sterilization of various types of dry goods products such
as surgical instruments, linen etc.

Infrequent liquid loads (liquids in vented containers) can be sterilized within the unit
using slow exhaust cooling.

However, approximately 3-5 % of the liquid volume of the vented container will be lost
within the process. It is highly recommended to select the suitable process for frequent liquid
loads, to maximize productivity of the unit and eliminate liquid loss.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

For safety checkup, repair, maintenance and operation of this sterilizer please pay
attention to the following. We will not be held responsible for damages resulting by not
following this safety instructions and CAUTIONS in this manual.

The operator shall wear protective gloves to prevent skin burns, as the sterilizer
maintains high temperature not only during operation but also for a considerable period
of time after use.
The inspection, adjustment and repair, maintenance of the sterilizer should be conducted
by qualified and experienced person. If an inexperienced person tries to repair this unit
may get hurt or greatly damage the unit.
Remove the power supply cord before opening the sterilizer cover. Confirm that the
equipment has been cooled down to ambient temperature.
When sterilizing some wrapped articles, be careful for the wraps of the package not to
contact the chamber wall as there is a danger of fire.
When lifting or moving the sterilizer two or more people should be employed.
Use only vented closures; don’t use screw cap or rubber stopper.
Use only type1 Borosilicate glass bottles. Does not use ordinary glass bottles these
would damage the sterilizer.
After the sterilization is over, please do not open the door fully; leave the door a little
open for few minutes.
Do not shake or move the hot bottle, it may burst.
Sterilizer should be grounded properly.
When not using the sterilizer turn the power off.
When cleaning the door or chamber, does not use wire brush, steel wool, abrasives etc.
Always keep the door clean when closing the door of the sterilizer for sterilization.

This sterilizer has passed all the tests and approved by our quality control department
before dispatch, for users convenience installation is carried out by our qualified engineer
authorized by us and trains the specified person.

CAUTION

The sterilizer should not be installed where


ventilation is limited or nearer to the sewage or
water supply, inflammable or toxic gas unit and heat
source.

CAUTION

Wear protective gloves and use 2 or more people


when moving the sterilizer.
Don’t lift the sterilizer by the hook or one side only.

4.1.PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Before every use check and maintains as follows
Check the chamber weather it’s clean, damaged and well arranged in
appearance.
Check the door locking system as is in perfect operation.
Take out the chamber contents trays and clean the chamber and gasket.

Check and maintain in the following manner weekly.

Check the deformation, damage and elasticity of door gasket. If defect replace
immediately.

4.2 REPAIR & MAINTAINENCE


DOOR GASKET

If there is any leakage in gasket replace immediately. Even there is no leakage


or particular defect; it should be replaced at least once in a year.

Method of replacement

Remove the defective gasket and clean the groove.


Insert new gasket in to the groove. Thrust the gasket in the groove of front point
and in the same direction thrust rest portion.
Apply a little bit of lubricant.
Check as the gasket may not partially extended or compressed.

4.3 MAINTENANCE OF OTHER COMPONENTS.

DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM


Therefore, it is a device of high safety and reliability easy to door operation.
Consequently, there is little possibility that a trouble takes place. If necessary,
disassemble in the following manner for checking, cleaning and repairing.
Open the door.
Open lock cover of the door.
Take out the assembly out and oiled, or repair.
After repairing the door is not satisfactory, to replace the new one.
