Most homemade soap uses a glycerin

base with a large amount of glycerin,

obtained through the saponification

process.

It’s made up of oils, which could be

During the saponification, their

vegetable oils or animal fat react with

an alkaline substance, neutralizing their

alkaline agents. It helps to control

humidity producing a quality soap.

Every soap made from this process, it’s

called glycerine soap.

Let’s start our Vegetal glycerin base!

Keep in mind: the recipe below will

produce 20 liters of base ! !

Ingredients:

-100ml of Rosemary essential oil or olive

oil

-500ml of cereal alcohol

-100g of sugar(syrup)

-150ml of Aloe (up t0 200ml)

-220ml of liquid caustic soda/LYE(70%)

Directions:
Start dissolving sugar in 100ml of water.

In another pan, put 100g of Rosemary oil

along with 900g of sunflower oil.

After mixing sugar with water, add the

mixture to the oils.

Add cereal alcohol and mix it for one

minute.

After that, add the Soda and Aloe and

mix them up for 02min.
