SUBJECT: Clutch Housing Assemblies, P/N 23011825 or 23013654

EQUIPMENT AFFECTED: HT-750, MT-650 Model Transmissions

Subject clutch housing assembly, P/N 23011825 and 23013654, were released
in Production built transmissions, as applicable, in the past year and as
serviceable assemblies. Refer to Figure 1. These assemblies consist of
a housing, ring and check ball(s) and are fully interchangeable as an
assembly in all HT-750, MT-650 (50speed transmissions) as received, in
field service.

It has been reported that attempts have been made to remove the ring OP
clutch assembly, P/N 23011825, apparently assuming it is a "shipping"
or "packing" ring for the assembly. This is to advise that although the
former and current detail housings are similar, the ring is an integral
part of the clutch assembly, P/N 23011825 design and must not be removed.
