Storage
Sand as an external factor for Energy Storage
Statement of the Problem/Objectives

The goal of this research is to develop an

alternative and renewable source of energy in
order to mitigate global warming caused by gas
emissions from fossil fuels and air pollution that
could harm the environment.
Significance of the Study

The findings of this study will benefit the

community to produce an affordable and
accessible source of raw materials in
generating power.
Small Scale Solar-Powered
Irrigation System
Small Scale Solar-Powered Irrigation System
Objectives
This study aims to:
generate an irrigation system that is good
for areas where there is no electricity.
create an irrigation system powered by solar
panels
determine moisture content of soil and proper
quantity of water irrigation.
Statement of the Problem
The objective of this study is to create an irrigation system powered by
solar panels in which it is beneficial for areas where there is little to no
electricity. This is to provide farmers with electricity as reliable energy for
irrigation systems. Specifically it aims to answer the following questions:
1. How long will the irrigation system operate until it stops working
with the amount of hours of the device being under the sun?
2. 5 hours
3. 10 hours
4. 15 hours
2. How much area can the irrigation system cover?
Significance of the Study
This research will benefit the community by
providing renewable energy and lowering
energy costs. It also benefits farmers by allowing
them to grow a wider selection of crops.
Moreover, farmers can improve expenditures
relevant to irrigation of their crops.
Development of a
Rabies Detection
Device
Development of a Rabies Detection Device
Statement of the Problem/Objectives
The objective of the study is:
to be able to create a product in which it can identify the
presence of rabies in a dog’s saliva.
to control and contain diagnosis of rabies in dog's
to make the product widely accessible without the need for
laboratory testing
Specifically, it answers the following questions:
1. How long does it take for the device to detect rabies in the saliva
specimen?
2.

Significance of the Study

The findings of this study will benefit the

community to lessen the danger of animal bites,
specifically dogs and this will also benefit the
veterinary community since the product is readily
accessible to determine the presence of rabies.
Modified Automatic
Pet Feeder
Modified Automatic Pet Feeder
Statement of the Problem/Objectives
The objective of the study is:
to feed animals in exact amount or quantity for proper
nourishment.
to keep pets specifically cats and dogs to attain and maintain a
healthy weight.
Specifically, it aims to :
program an application in order to control the device using the
Arduino Uno or text messaging to send notifications to the user.
apply a stronger solenoid valve or look for an alternative
solenoid valve for faster dispensing of the water.
Significance of the Study
The findings of this study will benefit the pets,
especially the ones who gulp food or eat too fast, a
feeder can help consume food more slowly and
contribute to good weight control and proper
nourishment. It will also be advantageous for the pet's
owner to prepare and budget the right amount of food
supply to animals at a set time when the owner is
away.
