Letter Of Motivation

It is my conviction that persistent hard work is the most important key to success. I learned this belief
from my own experience. My name is Mirza Muhammad Sabih Raza. I am 24 years old. I was born on 07
Nov 1994. I have completed my Matriculation in 2010 in science group with B grade after that I went for
DAE from Punjab board of Technical Education Lahore in 2013 and obtained grade A with the interest in
Mechanical field I decided to move with Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 from Superior
Colleges Lahore.
After completing my graduation, I decided to continue my study for professional study I considered to go
abroad for my further educational journey so I decided to go Germany for my Master in International
Physics. In order to satisfy my passion for physics, I have furthered my studies from two aspects. One is
to broaden my vision by reading extensively. The other is to try to get as many as possible experiment
opportunities. It seems to me that experiments are helpful for my acquiring much perceptual knowledge
about physical phenomena and developing powers of intuition in physics. One of the most appealing
features of Physics is the way that complex physical phenomena can be explained by simple and elegant
theories. I enjoy the logical aspect of the subject and I find it very satisfying when all the separate pieces
of a problem fall together to create one simple theory.

I strongly believe that Studying Engineering Program from German University would help me in realizing
my goals and broaden my mind in the world of modernization of industrial system and rapidly changing
manufacturing process, acquiring further knowledge would aid my country immensely. In addition, German
university has superior standards of education, research activities and high, class faculty which are splendid
for encouraging me to overcome bitter circumstances and increasing probability for locating a decent job.
Being fond of Mathematics, Science and research work, right from my school, so, I decided to take up Pre-
Engineering subjects in high school. Working hard I was skill enough to score 66% in secondary and 72%
in higher secondary examination to start my career. I acknowledge myself to be talented student. My wish
to continue with science subjects and applied for German and scored 3.25 CGPA in my Graduation
throughout my busy schedule and even participating in numerous activities while experiencing time
management hardships.
My previous university bolstered me to understand, sharpen my academic skills and furthermore explore
my field of interest. Throughout my bachelor’s degree, I was able to gain deep knowledge and grasp
intelligence through books, laboratory equipment’s, projects, presentations and even research work. This
not only elevated my concepts but also improved my self-confidence, communication skills and made me
more persistent in progressing towards future career. Learning about heat transfer, mass transfer, chemical
reactor design and process control and dynamic. In my last semester, I opted for bio-chemical engineering,
which supplementary established my vision and strengthened roots towards working for my country’s
environmental complications. Besides my core subjects, I learnt about computer programs such as C and
C++, history of our nation and its geography which gave an insight of where obstacles or natural disasters
would occur. Cricket is not just entertainment for me, it’s my passion and as being a patriotic person, I
acknowledge my national cricket team. During my school life, I was greatly indulged and presented with
great awards.
After my graduation I started working in Pakistan Meal Galvanizing Industries Pvt Ltd. I am working here
since May 2017 as a maintenance Engineer. The ambiance of my organization is totally good and I am very
delighted to tell that I am part of such professional and organized company. After working here, I realized

that everything is not money sometimes you are working somewhere as you like your surrounding people.
Apart from these I decided to continue my further studies after getting experience in the relevant field.
After a lot of research, I came to conclusion that Germany attracted me the most. Germany is well known
for a world class degree and has become a synonymous with high quality. Both technical skills and
excellence can only be achieved with outstanding educational system; it is therefore a promising destination
for higher studies. Furthermore, German government provide considerable funding to the universities, so
education is merely free of cost, with this one can get the best possible education and exposure which has
a high demand in Global market. Germany is evidently one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, with
rich historical heritage, natural wonders and modern metropolises.
To pursue the graduate study is both intellectually challenging and exhilarating, but to take decision of
attending which university is one of the toughest decisions in one's life. Keeping these in mind, I consider
Paderborn University as my best choice. I learned about its outstanding libraries, distinguished faculties,
and a stimulating academic atmosphere which also have made Paderborn University a renowned
university in the world. And the Department of International Physics of Paderborn University plays a
pioneering role in research. I gained information about through various ways

I am certain that the prestigious university in Germany is right place for me to develop life challenges. I
look at getting admission into the institute, as a major step and a personal landmark achievement.
Completing my master’s in International Physics from Paderborn University would give me an
opportunity to receive high-level education under the guidance of prominent teachers and will benefit me
for the rest of my life. I am sure with persistent efforts. I shall be able to develop my Engineering skills to
the standards set by the institute and be a worthy alumnus.

Mirza Muhammad Sabih Raza
