Introduction

This report proposal is prepared to fulfill the requirement of HRM course. This proposed report will be done on Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).In this report we will try to focus in Performance management System in SCB. We will try to show what the effects of their performance system on employees are. We will also try to analyze what can be the best performance management system for them

Statement of the Problem

Objectives of the Report


The report has been undertaken to assess the Performance Management practices of Standard Chartered Bank with the prime focus at formulation of strategies and tactics and how it contributes to them

a) Broad Objective
Broad objective is to identify and understand the implementation of Performance management system in SCB

b) Specific Objectives
Determine the method of Performance management system in SCB Understand the effectiveness of their approach Identify the affect on employees Identify is there any better Performance management system for SCB

Scope of the Report


Private Banks are growing company of Bangladesh and banks are continuously focusing towards improving their services. Similar is the case with Standard Chartered Bank. This Bank has evolved tremendously during the last couple of years and now has become one of the leading private banks in Bangladesh Keeping this in view the study has been undertaken to identify the implementation performance management system of by the Standard Charted Bank to train and motivate their people and work force and how getting best output form employees

Methodology: Data Sources & Activity Schedule


The information related to the project has been collected from the Standard Chartered Bank The methodology adopted is as follows: 1. Collection of data by conducting interviews of officials of the Bank 2. Frequent visits 3.Questionnaire 4.Internet Search

Limitations
There maybe difficulty in collecting information. HR department of SCB may not be cooperative Given time for preparing report is limited Sample size is limited.

Conclusion
Performance Management System is very important part of HR activities and we hope that we will be able to learn more knowledge about Performance management system after completing our report and research.
