I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
 brief oneself with the basic PC Assembly guidelines
 practice safety measures in assembling a computer
 handle computer components properly
II. MATERIALS: Ball pen, Board, Notebook, Laptop, Computer Peripherals.

B. Development of the Lesson
1. Motivation
Ask the following questions to the students:
1. Do you know how the computer works?
2. Who is responsible in operating the computer?
2. Presentation
Discuss important things that should be taken into consideration when building a
PC. The teacher will also discuss some security and safety measures in PC Assembly
and tips for computer components handling.
Enumerate the computer limitation and computer capabilities
3. Activities
Ask the following questions to the students:
a. What are the basic guidelines in PC Assembly?
b. What are the three keypoints on handling components safely?
C. Evaluation
The teacher will bring a motherboard in the class and each student should try to remove
and assemble some of the external hardware devices considering the proper handling of
these devices.
D. Assignment
Read and study about the main circuit board of the computer system. Familiarize
its parts.
