TANGGAPAN NG MGA PAARALAN PANSANGAY NG CAMARINES SUR
SHARED VISION
By SY 2024-2025, SDO Camarines Sur envisions grade level
ready learners through a collaborative, nurturing and intensive
convergence of competent and innovative teachers; enabling
education leaders; and, highly engaged stakeholders as
instructional partners with the use of evidence-based strategies
to address learning loss.
INTRODUCTION
The Department of Education never gets tired of improving the quality of
education towards uplifting the lives of every Filipinos. Sharing the same goal
with SDO Camarines Sur, includes our humble school, the Potot Elementary
School. It is one of the 34 complete elementary schools of Libmanan North
District, located at Potot, Libmanan, Camarines Sur with 3-km distance from
the District Office and 46 kilometers from the Division Office.
The school is composed of eleven (11) permanent teachers being
managed by a School Principal with a total enrollment of 310 learners as of
today.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused abrupt and profound
changes in the field of education including Potot Elementary School. This is
probably the worst shock to education systems in decades and disruptions to
education systems over the past year. Evident low assessment results such as
what transpired in the CRLA, Phil-IRI and ENAT show substantial losses and
inequalities in learning.
2|P age
We may had exerted all the efforts to provide distance and modular
learning, but this has been a very poor substitute for in-person learning. And
yes, it’s not enough for us to simply reopen our doors after COVID-19. Coming
back to school two years below grade level on average? That would be tough on
the part of our students. They will need tailored and sustained support to help
them readjust and catch-up after the pandemic. The future of this generation
is at stake and the time to act is now. Therefore, in response to the needs of
learners and in adherence to DepEd’s advocacy of recovering learning losses for
the past two school years, Potot Elementary School has crafted its Learning
Recovery and Continuity Plan (LRCP) named as UPLINE POTOT: UPlifting
LIteracy and Numeracy towards Excellence. This plan in accordance with
RAISE CAM SUR LN and LEARN LND, aims to develop the literacy and
numeracy skills of every learner, thus improve his/her academic performance
and eventually will develop a goal-oriented learner and a morally strong
individual who will contribute meaningfully towards nation building.
