MC Good Morning Ladies and gentlemen, we are

delighted to welcome you to the first
International Conference on Peace talk in the
capital city of Afghanistan, Kabul City.

I am Resshel Ann Echavez, your host for today. I

also would like to greet our guess speaker: The
Ambassador of Afghanistan, Mr.Josh Ala of teir
Dejito, The Youth Representative Afghanistan,
Mme. Gina Jalipa and The famous Vlogger from
Afghanistan, Mme. Greshiel Labuan and of
course, our distinguished audience Mme. Elena
Joy Cabañero.

Today’s conference is the first out of three series

conference , which will be held throughout this
month. Make sure to keep updated for the
upcoming series.

Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to read

the agendas for today. The first agenda is a
presentation session. And second is the Q&A
session led by our moderators.

Ladies and gentlemen, now we have come to our

main agenda: The opening and a presentation
session

informative and comprehensive presentation for
the first part.

Ladies and Gentlemen, now we’ve come to the

Q&A or discussion session.
We are glad to receive so many questions from
our audiences and due to time limitation, we are
 going to choose some of the most voted
questions for our guess speakers.

We may call on Mme. Elena Joy Cabañero, one of

our audience to ask the questions to our guess
speakers.

Thank you very much, I would like to have
opportunity to ask the youth representative this
question:

How can you advocate or support the youth’s

rights and amplify their voices and issues on
national and global platforms.

Gina Jalipa Ladies and gentlemen, My name is Gina Jalipa,

and I was selected as Afghanistan’s Youth
Representative for the year of 2022. As of the
late 2021, Afghanistan’s population is estimated
to be 41.7m, of whom 51 per cent are men and
49 per cent are women.

Currently Afghanistan has one of the youngest

populations in the world, with two-thirds of the
population being below the age of 25.

My goal is to engage other young Afghans on

social media and elsewhere to hear their ideas
about how to play an effective role in promoting
peace, security and positive change .I also plan to
call on global leaders and organizations to
partner with youths to create positive change in
Afghanistan. My other plan also involves in
representing my peers at international events,
including engagements at the Security Council, to
call attention to the many challenges Afghan
youth face and the many opportunities we can
rally together to leverage.

It was wonderful to hear your insightful plans as a
youth representative of Afghanistan.

What were your greatest achievements as

ambassador? Thank you.
Mr.Josh Ala of teir Dejito. Excellencies, distinguished audience, Ladies and
gentlemen.

It is my pleasure to join this international

conference on “Peace talk 2022’’ I also want to
commend the Government of Afghanistan for
this initiative, as part of the activities to mark
2022 as the International Year of Peace and
Trust, as declared by the United Nations General
Assembly Resolution 73/338.

I also want to welcome these efforts, which are

intended to promote peace and trust among
nations through political dialogue, mutual
understanding, and cooperation.

As we do so, let us acknowledge that the world

continues to face various threats to peace and
security, including war and conflict; the
proliferation of nuclear weapons, and other
weapons of mass destruction; cyber threats; and
terrorism. These challenges are further amplified
by the climate crisis and by the ongoing Covid-19
pandemic.

Given these multiple challenges, we must remain

proactive in our efforts to build peace and trust
among nations.

As an Ambassador of Afghanistan, I represented

Afghanistan at various regional and international
conferences on peace and stability in Afghanistan
and its wider region. I also led several bilateral
and multilateral negotiations on these and other
issue in deliberations at the UN and other
international settings. Throughout of my career, I
also worked adamantly to ensure the
international community's steadfast support in
helping to achieve and consolidate gains across
various spectrum.

In the coming years,I will continue to do all

these things and help to stabilize Afghanistan.

 As a vlogger, how can you help promote peace in
Afghanistan?

Greshiel Labuan Hello, everyone. I'd like, first of all, to thank the
organizers of this International conference for
inviting me here today. It is such an honor.

Let me introduce myself, I am Greshiel Labuan. I

am a vlogger or also known as video bloggers
that creates short online films on a variety of
subject such as video blog sites or provide
independent content on paid channels.

I specialized in creating, inspiring and

entertaining films on subjects such as current
affairs, social issues, or comic relief.

As
