A hidden paragon in the barricade of prejudice

By Ella Marie M. Portuzuela

Women objectification had been a perennial contentious issue on the tip of the
iceberg. For decades, woman deliberately made a notable momentum to annihilate the
partiality that covertly tolerated in the world of two genders. Their exposure to sexual
abuse, domestic violence ,gratuitous discrimination in job opportunities and education
had been known but neglected to address. Nevertheless ,their invaluable effort to break
the barrier amplified and eventuate revolutionary impact, they are still at the bottom of
reverence and golden opportunities that men are doomed to acquire.

Albeit women dominated in many areas of society such as in

pageantry ,business ,politics ,leadership and promoting their worldwide advocacies ,there
are still barriers that restrain from accepting woman as a powerful source of
reinforcement. For all we know Catriona Gray hold the illuminating torch for women at
the forefront of proving that they can resonate inspiration to the Universe. We have also
Ayn Bernos who efface that Morenas lie outside the standard of beauty. She joined the
pageantry with the full confidence that having dark complexion doesn’t equate to
ugly. She points out that beauty comes in different forms and through this we uphold
inclusions.

Many more women have made priceless effort to establish and coax majority that
women must acquire meritorious recognition and respect. We cannot the deny the fact
that we commence to forge the visage of women to be embraced however it still requires
a long way to go to seize the turning point. This might be a call to encourage not only
women to fight for the prerogative that forfeited in a lifetime . We are longing for men to
cynosure enlightening people to see the hidden gem towards women.
