Android version 9: Pie

The most revolutionary change made by Internet Explorer was its hybrid gesture/button
navigation system, which replaced the conventional Back, Home, and Overview keys on
Android with a large, multipurpose Home button and a smaller Back button that would
appear next to it as needed.

Android version 10
Most notably, the software completely reimagined the Android gesture interface, doing away
with the tappable Back button entirely and relying entirely on swipe-driven system
navigation.

Android version 11
The update added the option to grant apps location, camera, and microphone permissions
only on a limited, one-time basis, expanding on the expanded permissions system first
introduced in Android 10. This is one of the most significant privacy changes in the new
version.

Android version 12
Along with the release of its new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones, Google soon after began
rolling out the software to its own Pixel devices. Contrary to previous Android releases,
Android 12 features a majority of improvements that are surface-level. The biggest redesign
of Android's user interface since 2014's Android 5.0 (Lollipop) version can be found in
Android 12.

Android version 13
On the former, Android 13 introduces a completely new interface design for both tablets and
foldable phones, with a renewed focus on creating a remarkable large-screen experience in
the operating system itself and within apps (as first observed and reported by
Computerworld in January).
