    MY OB GUIDELINE

    OB – last candle the creates the impulse move


    Bullish OB – last bearish candle the creates the move
    Bearish OB – last bullish candle that creates the move

    Trading checklist:

    i. Mark High and Low


    ii. Mark BOS
    iii. Mark OB on HTF
    iv. Scale in on LTF
    v. Look for entry patterns in LTF
    vi. Entry – Aim for 1:3 or 1:5 or 1:10

    OB – Mark last opposite candle just before BOS

    OB – If next candle does not break range of OB, refine and mark the next candle as your OB

    OB – Strong OB, one that has many imbalances along the way

    OB – Doji candle – indecision point – Good OB marker

    BOS – should be a full body break. If BOS happens to the downside, look for sell patterns and vice versa

    Scale in LTF:

    i. Mark High and Low


    ii. Mark last candle before BOS
    iii. Look for patterns in line with HTF BOS direction
    iv. SL above LTF OB
    v. Trend line break + retracement to the OB which caused it – entry point.

    Scaling:

    i. D1 OB – scale in to 1HR
    ii. 4H OB – scale in to 15m
    iii. HR OB – scale into 5m

    Wick Trick

    i. Any time frame.


    ii. Wick of candle surpasses the previous wick.
    iii. There is an OB within, at the base of the
    wick
    iv.
    Notes:

    i. OB comes with an engulfing candle


    ii. highlight candle that got engulfed (wick to wick) – that’s your OB
    iii. Refine OB from HTF going to STF – smallest TF has a perfect entry
    iv. SL should be 3 to 5 from outside of OB
    v. Always look for fresh OB to use.
    vi. Inside spikes exist OB – if there is a spike say in 1HR, mark that wick, and go to lower TFs (30/15/5/1) looking for
    an OB until you find it.
    vii. OB should be found on a trending market. Market needs to shift away to confirm and OB. If market is
    consolidating, no OB, or if it retest without a clear shift first – no OB.
    viii. Always refine OB to small TF. 1m and 5m has low SL range. Don’t extend SL level. If SL is hit, then it was not a
    proper OB. Investigate why.

    Trend line strategy – TF 4hr and D1


    ix. Connect 3 wicks with trend line
    x. On BOS, entry is on 2nd candle
    xi. Use small lot
    xii. Hold position. TP targets are previous resistance/support points
