intake structure, water treatment plants and their allied structures. The possibility appears to
extract river Ravi water for Lahore city by constructing a weir across the river at suitable
location downstream of siphon and an intake structure at the weir.

PART-II is to provide irrigation water downstream of Ravi Syphon, to mitigate the shortage
of irrigation water of Kasur Irrigation Division and to provide drinking water below Ravi
Syphon as an alternate source for WASA, LDA Lahore.

developing schemes and solutions, before detailed engineering design for the feasible
solutions to develop new water supply systems and improve. Engineering and O&M
solutions for improving quality of drinking water currently being supplied through the
existing water supply schemes, RO plants in the rural as well as small urban areas are to
be identified and designed by the consultant. The Package 1,3&7 consists of 13 No.
