The 360-Degree eSight 4 LynQ

Selfie

C. Features
1. The 360 Degree Selfie. This technology can capture a spherical view of the whole
area, providing a realistic view of events and places, it also allows users to swipe on
whatever device they have to view a full 360-degree photo, not only does this camera
take pictures, but it can record videos as well, It has software in the videos where
when you watch them on a mobile device, all you have to do is turn your phone and
spin around in a 360-degree circle to view the full 360-degree view, making it
realistic like you’re actually there. The total cost of the camera is about $550.
2. The eSight 4 is one of a number of wearables for users with low vision, that are worn
like glasses, or goggles. It has an 18-megapixel camera mounted on the visor, just
above the nose enough to satisfy the user for a better view, a separate wireless,
remote is used for the full range of functions. The eSight comes with 2 batteries, each
last for 3 hours of continuous use and recharged.

3. LynQ is a small handheld device designed to provide you with the distance and
direction between you and other members of your group to help you get reunited if
you ever get separate, and the best thing or satifies the user is it doesn’t require any
Wifi, phone signal or subscription to work.

D. Connection to HCI
1. The 360-Degree Selfie somehow connected to HCI Guidelines. I can say that this
device is under the criteria of Interface Style/Modality, because it uses gesture or
mouse to rotate the camera.
2. The eSight 4 technology meets the guidelines of HCI under the criteria and category
of User Type. The device really fit among those people with disability specifically on
their vision.
3. The LynQ, we can connect this technology to the HCI guidelines through the criteria
of Platform or System Setup where in that this device is handheld like smartphones.
