1. In what year did we have the least number of disasters? And in what year did we have the
most?
➢ In year 2009, we had the least number of disasters with only 191 disasters. And in
year 2012, we had the greatest number of disasters with 471 disasters.

2. In what year did we have the most number of fatality? And in what year was the least?
➢ In year 2013, we had the greatest number of fatality with 6,877 fatality and in year
2008, we had the least number of fatality with 194 fatality.

3. Which year did we have the most economic losses? And the least?
➢ In year 2014, we had the greatest loss with P78.6 billion economic damages and in
year 2008, we had the least loss with P22.074 billion economic damages.

4. Which year has the largest number of individuals affected because of the disasters? And
which year has the least?
➢ In year 2014, we had the largest number of individuals who are affected because
of the disasters, with the total of 39.9 million and in year 2007, we had the least
number of individuals affected because of the disasters, with the total of 4.2
million.

5. What can be implied from the trend shown in the data shown below? Explain your
answer.
➢ As what I have observed from the trend shown in the data below, natural
disaster is getting stronger year by year. Even though it is changing year
by year, whether the least or greatest, the point is it is a serious large
number of disasters, fatality, economic damages and people who are
affected. It is so frightening that we have these kinds of events that would
greatly affect us.
