Present Situation:

A worker inspects the scales by stepping atop each one as it passes by on a conveyor moving at a rate of 12 feet per minute. On the conveyor,
the scales are one foot apart. The inspector looks at the dial, and if the scale shows his accurate weight within +/- 0.25 pound, he steps off the
scale, and the scale is transferred to the packing and shipping department. If the scale indicates that his weight is too high or too low, he uses his
foot to shove the scale off the conveyor and onto the adjacent surface. The defective scales are adjusted or fixed before being reinstalled on the
conveyor inspection.

Proposed Situation:

The scales are inspected by a machine that replaces the worker and accomplishes the work two at a time as it passes by on a conveyor traveling
at a rate of 12 feet per minute. As a result, the scales on the conveyor are spaced half-foot apart, doubling the output from 12 to 24 output per
minute. Meanwhile, the inspector examines the dial, and if the scale reflects the correct weight, it is transferred to the packing and shipping
department. However, if the scale is inaccurate or exceeds the standard's accuracy, the machine sends a signal or notification that sounds like a
'beep,' and the Inspector's job is to verify and transport the defective scale off the conveyor with his hands onto the adjoining conveyor that
goes to the repairing station. The damaged scales are adjusted or repaired before being re-placed on the conveyor inspection.
