1. The film starts in newly built Pondolem police station in Goa, where a newly joined
policemen asking about “Vijay Salgaonkar”. Then film goes top flashback, Vijay is an
orphan who is 4th class dropped out runs smalls business of cable service in goa and
he is married to Nandini and has two daughter Anju and Anu. Anju is adopted
daughter of Vijay studies in 12th class. Vijay is simple man middle class man who has
interest in watching movies and loves to spend time with family.
2. During this Anju goes to a nature camp where she is recorded in hidden cam while
was clothes in bathroom which was setup by Sam Deshmukh only child of IG of goa
Meera Deshmukh. After returning from camp Sam blackmail Anju for sexual favours
and told her to come in backside of her house in same night. In night when Sam
reaches there, he also found Anju mother [Nandini] there, he also tries to blackmail
her and then Anju tries to break Sam’s phone by lead pipe, but she strikes him in the
head and accidently he got injured and then he died.
3. They bury his body in a compost pit in the backyard, which is witnessed by Anu. In
the morning, when Vijay returns from work, Nandini tells Vijay about the incident
and he devises a way to save his family from the police. He tries to recognize all
things he has seen in movie to remove evidence. He removes the broken cell phone
and disposes of Sam's car in pond, which is seen by the Sub-Inspector Laxmikant
Gaitonde, who has a grudge against Vijay. The next day, Vijay takes his family out on
a trip to Panaji, where they visit an Ashram, watch a film, and eat at a restaurant.
4. After sometime Meera started investigation and found Vijay suspect so she calls his
family for interrogation, though the proofs were not strong to held Vijay and his
family convict the investigation was not going completely official. Vijay had idea that
police will call him for interrogation he trained his wife and daughter to face any kind
of situation. Plus, Vijay brings bills of bus ticket, movie ticket, lodging and restaurant
bills of 2 and 3rd October month [ days where last location of Sam was found] that he
was in Panji that time.
5. When police interrogate respective people, they find out that Vijay is telling truth
but somehow Meera find out truth that Vijay is playing with everyone’s mind and he
never visited Panji on 2 October but he visited on after incident and make fake bills
and put in people’s mind that he was there earlier on 2 October but in reality, he
never was.
6. After that Meera increases the level of interrogation and beat Vijay and his family in
front of her younger daughter Anu. She got sacred and told police that their body
buried in garden of their house. police come to Vijay house and dig the garden and
find out body of dead animal. when this incident was happing lot of people gathered
around Vijay’s house and later when police find dead animal’s body, they all get very
angry at police for falsely framing Vijay’s family for Sam missing report.
7. At the end of movie, it finds out that, the night when Sam was killed Vijay does not
have full trust on his family so he removed body from garden and buried under on
going construction of new police station. Then Vijay was considered innocent by
police.
