According to Reyes ( 2018 ) Senior High School (SHS) refers to Grades 11 and 12, the

last two years of the K to12 program that DepEd has been implementing since 2012.
Students begin to study in SHS the subjects that will introduce them to their preferred career
path. Senior High School Strand also better prepares students to pursue higher education as
SHS classes, especially those in the academic track, serve as an introduction to some
college courses. These classes not only help students in acquiring knowledge in their
chosen courses but also help them in making informed decisions on which course to
choose

According to study of J. Santos, L. C. Blas, A. J. Panganiban, K. M. Reyes and J. C. Sayo,

(2019). One tracer study focused on the alignment of courses enrolled in college to their SHS
strands. Conducting a tracer study that focuses on SHS curriculum exits would be unique. The
tracing of the graduates‟ statehood is an endeavor to ensure if the program has served its purpose
in addressing the need for producing lifelong learners

According to Calmorin, L. & Calmorin, M. (2006) they say academic

programs, higher education institutions have to consider societal
benefits of its program offerings Based on its institutional mandate, the
College “... is committed to primarily provide advanced education, higher
technological, professional and vocational instruction and training in
the sciences, arts, education, entrepreneurship, engineering and other
related courses. And, undertake research and extension services and
provide progressive leadership in its areas

According to (Tertiary Education Commission, 2009). In the challenges of 21st century education, higher
education stands out as one of the major keys to cope with reforms through instruction, research, and
extension. It has become a big challenge for all Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to cater
these reforms. One way of addressing these concerns is by producing fully-equipped graduates who
would use what they have learned in school and apply them in their respective work
