 It is also known as hydraulic control panel/automatic control panel.

 (1) Regulated Panel Supply is the input air/pneumatic pressure which is being supplied to the
panel. This supply comes through a filter  regulator  another filter and then into the
panel. (Two filters are there to eliminate any debris or moisture) , filter microns size is very
small.
The pressure maintained in the panel is 90-120 psi  well trips if pressure not in this range.

 (4) is the pressure gauge of ESD. ESD pressure is maintained between 45-70psi. If pressure
reduced to 40psi ESD will trip SSV. If high pressure, system will bleed it.
In case of low pressure, use (2) to charge the ESD and bring it back to nominal range.
 (3) is the Fusible loop pressure indication. The normal working range is 45-70psi. The melting
temperature range of plugs in the fusible loop is about 76-110 or 98-130 centigrade . when
this loop fails , SSV will close and after 45 seconds SSSV will shut down. Loop pressure will be
maintained after maintaining regulated air supply pressure and ESD pressure.

 There are manual overrides of both SSV (13) and SSSV (11). These overrides are used in
order to work on the panel keeping normal conditions on the panel. It is like a bypass valve;
pressure will be maintained, and work can be done on the panel. After overriding both,
there are two pumps that can be manually operated with handle in order to pump the
fluid.

 Flowline pressure shown by gauge (18)  0 to 190psi. Pressure is maintained between the
Pressure Switch Low (PSL) (20) and Pressure Switch High (PSH) (16) respectively. When the
pressure is between the two set values (high and low), the PSHL (15) indicates green colour
(that means the system is ok), otherwise red (not okay).

In order to test the flow-line switches, turn on the pilot selector (8) to test lockout mode.
Turn off the sense (17) selector switch and turn on the test selector switch (21). The PSH and
PSL have knobs that turn to adjust the setpoint pressure values of high and low. The test
connection (19) is used as the air inlet in order to check the set pressures of PSH and PSL. If
the pressure value is between both switch values, then the status indicator will be green, if
the value is lower than PSL value or higher than PSH value, the indicator will be red.

 The 2 pumps used in the well-head control panel (in order to pump the hydraulic fluid) are
Double-Acting Piston Pumps (Pump the fluid on both up and down cycle).
