Questions:
1. Students draw the floor plan, size: Length x Width x Height the workshop
which you choose. After that, you design the lighting system for the above
workshop with the LxWxH workshop size. You can calculate using manual
or softwares such as: Visual, Dialux, Dialux Evo. You calculate the power
of lighting cabinet. File need to submit (Word, Excel, or File Dialux,
visual, auto CAD, or Revit MEP)
2. Students can choose the power of each machine (kW or HP, cosphi) in
accordance with the power of each machine in reality (there is an Excel
Sheet attached in the Cong suat tai DAMH sheet) and then enter
parameters into Excel file: Tham khao file mau.xlsx, make sure:
- The total calculation apparent power to select the Transformer in
accordance with the Transformer apparent power of each student assigned
in the Bang phan bo cong suat MBA file;
- Distribution the power of each electrical cabinet or Distribution board is
nearly equal.
- Calculate the current for each machine, fill in the columns: Power (kW),
(HP), cosphi, current, startup type, Ptt, Qtt, Stt of each electrical
Distribution Board.
Notes: students do in Excel file: Tham khao file mau.xlsx
After filling in the parameters, students Save as the calculated Excel table
with the new name: Ho ten SV.xlsx, send the file to the web :

before 05/10/2022.
After that, student calculate the load of each distribution board and select
the transformer capacity (please detail).

3. Students propose 2 or 3 power supply plans (wiring options or power
supply direction plans, or choice between busway and cable…). Then,
students analyze, compare and evaluate to choose the best option.
4. Draw the single line diagrams for all distribution board and the single line
diagram of the substation transformer?
File to submit (Word, or Auto CAD, or Revit MEP)
5. - Designing single line diagram, control circuit for capacitor bank at the
transformer bus bar, with automatic and manual switching mode (with on /
off button on the outside of the cabinet or the board).
- Students proposed smart compensation and active or passive harmonic
filtering methods for the above project.

6. Select substation transformer equipment (medium voltage, low voltage
equipment), protective equipment, switchgear, select size wire (section)
connecting wires from Transformer Station to -> MSB; from
MSBMDB1,2,3,4 &DB-Lighting, from MDB1,2,3,4 to PX1.., PX2..,
PX3.., PX4.., from PX1.., PX2.., PX3.., PX4..-to>each machinne.
Students have to program (in excel or whatever) to
AUTOMATICALLY calculate voltage drop across all cables and to
select switchgear.

7. Select the full device to control each machine as required in the note
column.

8. Preliminary design of equipment layout into the MSB board.

9. Draw a detailed diagram for the Y / A controller for any one machine.

10. Calculate the table of estimated volume of equipment for MSB total
cabinets and capacitor cabinets.
