Instruction:

Write at least 3 words that you think will best describe the Philippine History.
Provide one to two sentences of explanation on why you choose the words and then try to establish
connection of these three words to study of history of Philippine History.

- It is the study of historical writings.
2. How should one write about the past? 2pts
- Full of factual information and also avoid vague generalizations. As well as avoid being
presentism and anchorism.
3. What are the sources that could be used in writings one’s own history? 2pts
- Primary sources may include diaries, letters, oral histories, photographs, and
government documents.
4. What is the difference between relic and artifacts? 2pts
- A relic is a physical piece that has its own reputation of being associated with a known
historical figure. While an artifact is a physical piece of history that was crafted by us
humans.
5. Can one detach himself from writing his own history? Justify your answer. Give example if
any. 3pts
- It first should start with the writer by creating a narrative about an exciting or thrilling
part of his/her life. Next is, to create the body of the writing by visualizing every single
word that was said in it, Lastly, show your strengths and weaknesses in the writing,
