MEGIBUNG TRADITION IN KARANGASEM

A tradition megibung in Bali is usually done once there is a great

ceremony as marriage, odalan, great ceremony. The area in Bali still continue the
tradition of this is the area in the Karangasem Bali.Tradition Megibung is held
with the purpose of building a sense of togetherness and the strength of friendship
and brotherhood. All the participants of Megibung is the same, no rich or poor and
no educated or not educated. Why such, it’s because it was the first theft

Then after finished eating, although there is a member of the group has
been full eating a delicius food, he couldn’t leave their group. He had to wait for
other members of the new finished eating can leave his seat. although this rule is
written directly, but the participants Megibung always adhered to and carry out
well.

A lot of the profits earned from the event to eat with how to connect, use
the most important is strengthen the relationship between the relatives or the
