1. Introduction
1.1 Project Brief

Bhiwadi is situated 65 km away from the New Delhi, 200 km from Jaipur, 90 km
from
Alwar,22 km from Gurgaon (Manesar) and 60 km from Faridabad (PROP Touch India
Sec-49). It
can be reached by National Highway NH8 (Delhi-Jaipur highway) via Dharuhera, in
30 min from
Hero Honda Chowk (Gurgaon) and in 40-45 min from IGI Airport, New Delhi.Nearest
railway
station is Rewari Junction, 26 km south of city. Nearest Airport is Indira
Gandhi International
Airport, 55 km north of the city.

The town is spread over nearly 5,300 acres, and houses around 2,700 big, medium
and
smallscale industries. Industries range from steel mills, furnaces to
automobile and electronics
manufacturing.

1.2 Project Planning

The total Project time has been planned as 54 months. While the planning took 9
months, the design will take 15 months. Other phases as per the figure below

1.3 Material Used in Project

Various materials suggest to be used

Structural works: Cement of good quality and mostly from primary supplier, Steel
from primary
supplier, Aggregate of good quality and strength from approved quarries, sand
from legal
source.
Brick and other loose materials: Clay Bricks or ACC block and be used for
blockwork depending
upon availability, cost and design
Flooring: High quality vitrified tiles in drawing/dinning/bedrooms. Good Branded
antiskid
ceramic tiles in toilets and balcony. 2BHK apartment to have polished kota stone
finish in the
common corridor.
Electrical: Copper wiring in concealed PVC conduits. Sufficient light and power
points Provision
for TV, telephone points in living room and all bedrooms, ac points in all
rooms. Good Power
connections for chimney, exhaust, toaster/microwave, fridge and RO. In Plus
towers and in
swimming pool, imported light fittings would be installed.
Doors & Windows: Hardwood frames veneer finished entrance doors & flush/skin
doors in
bedrooms. External, aluminium, doorsand windows.
KITCHEN: Granite counter top, stainless steel sink with drain board. Ceramic
glazed tiles on
walls. Flooring of branded anti — skid ceramic tiles. In plus towers imported
modular kitchen
would be installed.
Toilet: Branded anti-skid ceramic floor tiles, ceramic tiles up to 7 feet,
kajaria/somany or
equivalents, Sanitary ware: hindware, cera/equivalent, fittings: jaguar /
equivalent. In plus
towers luxury toilet fittings would be provided.

to one of the tower
so that landscaping and hardscape works can be carried out.
3. Procurement Team Details

3.1 Team Details

Procurement Head

Defines the long-term direction of strategic procurement processes and services

for the
procurement department and is involved in high-value contract negotiations.
Procurement
Head is responsible for negotiating with the supplier

Procurement Manager

He has Supervisory and managerial responsibilities. He leads the work of the

purchasing
division, including tasks and activities of Purchasing Officer and Buyer. He
has authorities to
make decisions concerning operational activity; however, he or she must
communicate with
Procurement Head to get the strategic, long-term direction of procuring
activities (including
government activities).Closely works with the project manager, and in
collaboration both
managers decide on specifications and technical requirements of procurement
items required
for accomplishing the project.

Procuring Buyer

He selects a suitable vendor and issues purchasing orders. He prepares a list

of potential
vendors (the buyer’s list) to be submitted to Manager for approval. The buyer’s
list is critical to
identification of the key procurement policies and strategies that state
procurement procedures
and activities

Procuring Officer

Directly communicates and negotiates with vendors. He is responsible for

sending the request
for proposals (RFPs) to the approved vendors from the buyer’s list. Often
Officer shares duties
of Buyer and submits the buyer’s list for approval. May act on behalf of Buyer
when submitting
purchasing orders to approved vendors

3.2 Supplier Evaluation

Supplier Evaluation is the responsibility of Procuring Buyer. He or she prepares
the buyer’s list or the
selected supplier base

3.3 Supplier Selection

Performance rating of various suppliers is evaluated. The supplier with the
highest rating is
preferred and is added in the buyers list. The Procurement head negotiates the
price with the
supplier and a purchase order is prepared for the supplier.

All the suppliers of various materials are procured through these evaluation
criteria. Our
organization keeps the data base of supplier for dual sourcing & for better
service and price.
