Welcome to the 63rd annual Parndana Show. Mr. I. Kelly, Mrs. M. Kelly,
2022 has been another interesting year with the passing Mr. S. Kelly, Mrs. E. Murton,

Site holders that do not hold their own insurance are required to pay the first $1500 of

The sale of pop guns and cap guns is prohibited at the show and any found will be
confiscated. Contravening this rule brings automatic disqualification of the stall holder
at future shows.

Postal Entries:
Postal entries to be on official entry forms if possible. Each person to have separate
forms that include name and address. Children’s entry forms to have parent’s name also
and must be available for collection on Monday November 07 . th

Entry Day:
The Parndana Show Society will hold an entry day at the show pavilion in Parndana on
Saturday November 05 between 10:00am and 12:00pm for anyone that wishes to drop

#4 EXHIBITS
All entries must be bona fide property of the exhibitor.
Show Week Exhibits:
Please note that some sections have entry closing dates prior to show day, for more
information see listed details for these dates on each section page.
Show Day Exhibits:
Exhibitors that place their entries on show day must place their entries in the space
directed by the convenor by 9:30am. To assist convenors please label all exhibit entries
with your name, section and class on the back or underside.
Late entries will not be accepted.
Show Day Exhibits:
No exhibits to be removed before 4:00pm.
The committee do not hold themselves responsible for loss or damage to any exhibit.
Exhibits not claimed within 28 days will become the property of the Society.
#5 PAVILION AND JUDGING
Pavilion Closure:
The pavilion will close to the public and doors will be locked from 10:00am.
The public are not permitted in the pavilion while judging is in progress. Judging is to
start at 9:45am sharp. No exhibitors may approach the judges whilst they are judging.
Judging Guidelines:
The judges’ decisions are final. Judges have the power to withhold any prize if they
consider exhibits of insufficient merit. The committee members are the sole interpreters
of these regulations and their rulings in any dispute are final. No prize money will be
given out in any class where a trophy or ribbon is given. Trophies not won outright will
be held by the Society until such time as they are won outright.

COMPETITION OUTLINES TRADITIONAL ANZAC
BISCUIT RECIPE
01. Exhibitors own recipe may be used. NOTE: this recipe does not need to be used, but can

recipe. 1 cup desiccated coconut
03. Kangaroo Island Oats to be used where 1 cup rolled oats

05. All buscuts should be of equal size and 1 tablespoons golden syrup
colour 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
Method:
01. Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays
PRIZES with baking paper. Combined the flour,
coconut, rolled oats and sugar in a large bowl.
1st prize - $30 02. Place the butter and golden syrup in a small
2nd prize - $20 saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring
3rd prize - $10 occasionally, for 3 mins or until butter is
melted. Set aside for 5 mins to cool slightly.
03. Combine 1 1/2 tbs boiling water and the
bicarbonate of soda in a small bowl. Add to
the oat mixture along with the butter mixture.
Stir until well combined.
04. Roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into balls
and place on the lined trays, allowing space
for spreading. Gently press each ball to flatten
slightly. Bake for 15 mins for crisp biscuits.
Set aside on the trays to cool completely. The
