The homogeneous and heterogeneous group intended to promote cutting edge

developments that will be benefit from grouping high intelligence individuals, but it would also
benefit from a mix of cultures and life experiences. Having methodologies for communication
and working processes in place early on in the team's formation can mitigate many problems
in both homogeneous or heterogeneous teams.
Today, I would like to work in a workplace with heterogeneous group of people because that
includes the culturally different employees. Teams that include the employees from different
countries and backgrounds may have more creative ideas and methods of solving particular
problems. The organizations from all industries are embracing the benefits of a diverse
workforce. But with the benefits necessarily come the challenges of working across borders,
cultures and languages. Having a mixture of cultures, abilities and life experiences can create
a stronger dynamic within a group. Individuals can be "experts" in roles such as leader,
innovator, communicator and peacekeeper. This can be an organic development that will
help you to be productive in your work and gain more knowledge and confidence to
communicate to your co-workers. Some studies suggest a higher degree of creativity and
information processing in heterogeneous teams.
This leads to the conclusion that organizations could become more diverse if hiring and team
decisions were not (only) made by those directly affected, but (also) by other people who are
not directly involved in the group's daily work later. I’d rather do my job that is surrounded by the
heterogeneous than with homogeneous people.
