Introduction
Hands-on learning is exciting for children.
Hands-on learning inspires kids to learn and to
be more engaged by doing.

Children that experience STEM education learn

complex skills such as: logical thinking, problem
solving, team work, and so much more!

In this lesson, students will learn to design a

home to survive in each habitat. The home
must include items that represent the basic
characteristics of each group.

Habitats STEM Activities can be used with each

group working on the same Habitat or each
group can choose a different habitat.

An optional Habitat Booklet is included at the

end for extra practice or for fast finishers!

Habitat Math themed games also at the end.

Have fun learning!
