Proposal of Provision for Budget to Provide Accommodation to Isolation Covid-19 Positive Patient

Purpose
The purpose of this proposal is to provide standard guideline and procedure to isolate any Covid
Positive individual from other whom involves with RISR Project.

Objective
The objective of this proposal is to prevent and minimize further spreading of the Covid 19 viruses to
others.

Issue for Discussion

RISR site management has concern on the current situation whereby there is no separation facility to
accommodating of any detected Covid 19 positive staff and/or site worker.
The normal practice (by referring to PESB SOP) is those detected positive for Covid 19 will be instructed
to do self-isolation for 7 days.

Due to inadequate facility for isolation at RISR project, the positive staff and/or site worker is
instructed to do self-isolation in their own room but still sharing other facilities such as sanitary facility
with non-positive staff and/or workers. This situation potentially and may led to the spreading of the
positive Covid 19 cases.

Suggestion for the way forward

Site management of RISR project is requesting for budget to provide temporarily accommodation to
those positive Covid 19 at nearby quarantine centre.

*Note:

2nd flow chart show that the positive patient will do the self-isolation in their own room for 7 days.
Whilst, other staff or site workers whom sharing same accommodation facility with the infected
patient will be relocated to nearby accommodation centre and return to work as usual. The situation
will be back to normal once the positive patient is cleared from covid 19.

Option 1 PESB management approve the proposal of provision for adequate budget.
Option 2 To remain status quo

Risk
Risk 1 able to prevent and minimize the spreading case of Covid 19 within RISR project.
Risk 2 Risk of site been temporary close down due to in spike of Covid 19 case.

1. To approve the proposal of provision for adequate budget.
