What is the impact of World Englishes on English phonetics, phonology and
pronunciation? (80-100 words).
The different accents of English generate a great impact on phonetics because
each country whose native language is English has different sounds that make
up the language and these sounds are not always the same for each country, as
is the case, for example. of American English and British English. Also, the
pronunciation of vowels changes. Learning phonetics will generate that if your
grammar is not perfect, people can understand you when you speak
