Problem solving with

rhyming clues.
Can you find the locations?

You will need a QR Code Scanner App pre-loaded onto the
devices you plan on using (a free one is fine!). Print pages 3
to 15 and place them around the school at the correct
locations. At the top of each picture is the place where
you should put it, and also the answer that students will
write down on their recording sheet (pg.16). Set up the
codes ahead of time in their locations.

Students scan the first code labelled ‘START’. This will

reveal a rhyming clue. Students read and decipher the
clue, then proceed to that location.

I have intentionally included the answers to help you keep

track!

Go to the place where you borrow a book.

The receptionist sits here and answers the phone,

7 LIBRARY
Welcoming all visitors in a friendly tone.

If you want to be like Mozart, Lady Gaga or JayZ,

8 FRONT OFFICE
This is the room where you want to be.

If you are hurt or feeling sick

9 MUSIC ROOM
Go here to get help, go on - be quick!
We all get together in this very large space
10 FIRST AID Where assemblies and meetings take pride of
place.
You visit this place to order your lunch,
11 HALL
you can even get some sweets to munch.
