SCENE 1
Walang sino man ang gugustuhing
matugunan ngunit wala namang paroroonan.
question and answer, nais naming magbigay linaw sa ating mga katanungan o
(4) Narrator: sina Mr. Paolo Alegre, Mr. Angelo De La Cruz, Ms. Alexandra Bañal,
Ms. Aprille Remo, Mr. Mark Cerillo at Mr. Allain Sioco)
baga may inequality in the Philippines' healthcare system that presents problems
when it comes to the poorest and most vulnerable people not being able to afford
private healthcare services.
2-3
Naaayon ito sa REPUBLIC ACT No. 11223 or An Act Instituting Universal Health Care
for All Filipinos, Prescribing Reforms in the Health Care System, and Appropriating
Funds.
the Philippines' healthcare system funding has collapsed, there has been limited
resources and capacities. These interventions should be focused on worst-performing
regions or provinces. There are two recommendations to address financial barriers on
utilizing health care services among the poor
1. The social insurance databases and the PhilHealth's healthcare system coverage
should be evaluated to provide further information on the scope of expansion required
to achieve universal health-care coverage.
(9) Narrator: That's a pretty nice answer, I hope that enlightens our listeners tonight,
(10) Narrator QUESTION: The pandemic has exacerbated this learning crisis
and children are falling behind in their learning. Without urgent action, millions of
students will have fallen so far behind in their learning that they will be left
kasalukuyang education system, ano masasabi mo rito Mr. Cerillo?
(11) Mark: The actions our government made to amend this aside from
distance learning is that they have instigated to strengthen health crisis education
in the curriculum by having lessons or programs conducted to provide basic
knowledge on health protocols, and as for the upcoming limited face to face
classes, reducing the class size has been proven to be effective. The use of
hand washing or sanitizing facilities are also promoted together with addressing
the technological problems that might occur. These are some of the steps our
government instituted to ensure both safety and even mindness.
(13) Aprille: I think I can answer naman (Pakita sa screen with matching claps)
(14) Narrator: For Ms. Remo here, this is the next concern.
(15) Narrator QUESTION: The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered one of the
worst job crises since the Great Depression. The real danger that the crisis
brought is the increase in poverty and widen inequalities. What do you say about
this matter?
(16) Aprille: Well I think the course of action that should be taken is to first
cushion the impacts of unemployment and the pandemic. This will help the
people gain their work statuses. Second, supporting small businesses will
increase the local economy and will employ more people from the community.
And lastly ending discrimination at work, Discrimination must be eradicated in
order to maintain a productive workforce. I believe that's all I can say.
hindi po ako lalaban (tawa), well since we talked about employment, tungo
I think gusto
sayo
(21) De La Cruz : Well there are laws and programs which are made to
address this problem in unemployment and we are aware of the actions which
causes this to still promulgate, But I think possible solutions would be having to
trabaho.
(22) Narrator: What we are trying to enlighten you about are the concerns that
have been a problem for the majority of places and people sa ating bansa, this is
mostly covered by the government's actions and services so by knowing those
who will be sitting next as our leaders is an essentiality. Moving on, let's have
another concern under the topic of education sa bansa, may I call Ms. Bañal, Hi
po sayo Ma'am, so here's another question for you.
(yung mukha nung sasagot ang idisplay, then parang mag nod lang dito like nag aagree
with a smile ha labyu hahah)
(23) Narrator Questions: The new learning pathways we have today rely on
students and teachers having access to the internet so how about those who
lacks with the technology, or yung mga mahihirap na napilitang patigilin sa pag
aaral ang kanilang mga anak. What can you say about this?
(24) Alexandra: (READ THE NUMBER LANG) According to Senate bill no.
1565 Sec. 10. Digital Transformation under Education in the New Normal and
other Emergencies. For the DepEd to develop and enhance its capability to
continuously deliver quality education in the New Normal, it shall enhance its ICT
capacity and digitally streamline and integrate its workflows and processes. We
need infrastructure and electricity in all areas. We need internet and connectivity
in all schools and communities. We need to help the poor families, and with
these I think our government is making their move to address this problem, but
the major concern would be the infrastractures first.
(25) Narrator: Well, surely the pandemic affected lots of things. We can all
agree that we need someone with the platforms to amend these things diba?
(effect that audiences agrees) Well, moving on with our last concern about the
health sector.
diyan (tawa) well anyway
(29) Narrator Question: This is a problem which has been affecting our filipino
healthCare system, it is suffering from the shortage of human medical resources.
Especially individual doctors and nurses. This makes the system run slower and
less efficiently. Ano masasabi mo tungkol rito?
(30) Sioco: this really is a major problem and I think we should eliminate the
corruption in our government in order to maximize the use of the country's money
or tax. With this, the country can provide enough or more than enough resources
and manpower in our medical institutions to ensure the assistance and support
that every Filipino deserves.
programs.
(Yung mga mag answer, ipakita sa screen tapos mag nod like sign of agreement)
(31) Narrator: (dahan dahan haha) All our guests answered the questions
based on their knowledge and experiences and thus it concludes our show for
tonight! thank you all!
(33) Paolo: "It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our
abilities," said Dumbledore of one of my favourite books, Harry Potter. Nasa
