From the three syllables in the three special places, light manifests inviting the Lamas, Yidam Deities, Dkins and Dharma Guardians from
the ten directions;








CHEN DRANG TSA WE LA ME KU LA TIM/ SANG GYE KN D RANG ZHIN LA MA GYUR//
absorbing them into the Root Lama and surrounding retinues. The Root Lama becomes the embodiment of all the Buddhas.



The outer, inner und secret offering

Glorious Lama, Lord of the four Kyas, I offer my body, speech, mind; the outer, inner and secret offering; and

All sentient beings, limitless as the infinite nature of space, have been our mothers from beginningless time until this lifetime.

Therefore, for these kind mothers to sustain happiness, it is necessary for me to relinquish hatred and develop loving kindness.
Compassion

Even though these mothers desire happiness, by the force of nonvirtuous action they are tortured in the three lower

Actual Bodhicitta Practice

This practice consists of three parts: the preparation, the main part and the conclusion. At the beginning, the cultivation of Bodhicitta:

Preparation
(The preparation consists of four causes.)



The first cause is to generate an direct perception of the spiritual Master as Buddha.

In the space in front of myself, is a lion throne
on which are a lotus, sun and moon disks.
On this precious seat sits my root lama in the form of

golden in colour, with all the perfect signs of the Buddha. He is sitting in the Vajra Position, wearing the three Dharma robes.




DOR KYIL CH G NAM SUM SOL/ ZI RAB BAR NYE SE DANG/
His body is radiating the light of wisdom and compassion. His right hand is touching the ground and left hand is in the meditation
position.




JANG CHUB SEM PA YI DAM LHA/ KHA DRO CH SUNG TSHOG CHE SAL/
He is surrounded by Lineage Lamas, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Yidam Deities, Dkins and Dharma Guardians.







Because the second cause is the accumulation of a huge plenitude [of positive facilities], first a plenitude of merit is accumulated.


CHAG TSHAL WA DANG CH CHING SHAG PA DANG/ JE SU YI RANG KUL ZHING SOL WA YI/
What ever merit I have gathered through prostrations, offerings, confession,


GE WA CHUNG ZE DAG GI CHI SAG PA/ THAM CHE DZOG PE JANG CHUB CHEN POR NGO/
rejoicing, requesting and praying for the sake of the enlightenment of all sentient beings, all I dedicate.

May all mother sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness. May they be liberated


DUG NGAL GYI GYU DANG DRAL WAR GYUR CHIG/ DUG NGAL ME PE DE WA DANG MI DRAL WAR GYUR CHIG/
from suffering and the causes of suffering. May they never be separated from the happiness which is free from sorrow.















NYE RING CHAG DANG NYI DANG DRAL WE TANG NYOM LA NE PAR GYUR CHIG/
May they rest in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion.
Recite and meditate like this to interconnect [the meaning] truly with your own mind stream.












The fourth cause is to practice the special refuge.


JANG CHUB NYING POR CHI KYI BAR/ SANG GYE NAM LA KYAB SU CHI/
Until I attain the heart of enlightenment, I take refuge in all the Buddhas.

In front of all the protectors, I promise today to establish all the migrators to the Sugata (Well-Gone) State.
