COUNTER– AFFIDAVIT

I, JASMIN C. ONG, of legal age, married, Filipino citizen and a

resident of Casumpang Compound, San Jose Cawa-Cawa, Zamboanga
City, Philippines, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law
hereby depose and say that:

1. I am the wife of RALPH RUEN L. ONG, the Accused in Criminal

Case No. 56707 for alleged Slight Physical Injury filed before the
Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 1, Zamboanga City;

2. On 28 January 2022 at about 4PM in the afternoon, I was inside of

our house when my husband, RALPH RUEN L. ONG, brought our
dogs outside for them to poop;

3. After several minutes, my daughter and I heard a commotion as the

dogs were barking loudly. I immediately went outside and saw
JEULO CRUSPERO y ESTEVA and my husband having a scuffle
and witnessed the former kicked my husband causing him to fall
towards our neighbor’s gate;

1. As my husband was on the ground, JEULO immediately run towards

my husband to deliver more punches. As he attacked him, my
husband was able to pull the collar of his shirt and punched him.

2. I immediately run towards them, and together with our neighbor,

Tantan, intervened and pacified them. It was only at that time that
JEULO’s girlfriend and her family went out of their house. As I guided
my husband towards our house, his girlfriend’s mother, Liza, shouted
while pointing at Ralph, saying “Demonyo talaga ito! Demonyo talaga
ito! Wala ka na ngang trabaho, Palamunin ka! Ang dami mo nang
problema, dagdagan ko pa yan” which roughly translates, “You’re
really a Devil! You’re really a Devil!, You don’t even have a job,
you’re just depending on somebody to feed you! You already have a
lot of problems and I’ll give you more!”;

3. The private complainant, JEULO, also threatened my husband’s life

and shouted “Antayin moko mamaya, Putang-ina ka, Papatayin kita”
which translates as “Wait for me later! You son of a bitch! I will kill
you!”, he shouted it twice, while they were going into their house.
Then Liza also shouted, “Grande debos bola-bola, Palamunin ka!”
That translates as “You have big balls, You’re just depending on
somebody to feed you”;

4. After the incident, we went directly to the Police Station to blotter the
incident and we went to Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) for
medico legal. We also discovered that my husband’s phone Samsung
AS 10 amounting SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE
(P6, 999.00) PESOS Philippine Currency, was broken as a result of
the incident;

5. I hereby declare under oath that I personally witnessed what

happened on that date and that my husband was only defending
himself to prevent complainant’s aggression towards him.

6. I execute this Affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing facts

based on personal knowledge and authentic records in compliance
with the Order of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 1,
Zamboanga City.
