Estefanía Romero

A POISION TREE BY WILLIAM BLAKE

“I was angry with my friend:

I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I waterd it in fears

Night & morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night,

Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine,
And he knew that it was mine,

And into my garden stole,

When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see
My foe outstretchd beneath the tree.”

Oh my love – Estefania Romero

Today I woke up to the sun

oh I hope you’ll be the one
I pray to the moon and night
oh I hope you’ll be soon by my side.

Yesterday I woke up in a sky full of stars

Thinking of the possibility of us getting a new start
I ‘ll forever have you in my heart
And I dearly hope we never break apart.

Tomorrow I want to wake up by your side

Cus I belive in the future I’ll be your bride
Walking down the aisle
I just wanna see you smile.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

Writting poetry is really difficult in english. I’m used to writting poems in spanish but making rhymes in
english is way harder. On the other hand, I think it’s not to difficult for me to copy styles of writtings.
