What help can I offer my community?

You can help your community by cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness as
well as by planting trees in our surroundings.
How will I start it?
You can start by promoting campaigns like “ Coastal Clean-up” in our
barangay because it can help to keep the environment clean and pleasant. In
planting trees, I am encouraging all people in our barangay to participate in this
activity in order to make a contribution in the preservation of our environment for
the purpose of the next generation to witness the beauty of the mother earth.

Why do I need to do it?

You need to do it because you need to help in cleaning our community to

protect our environment to reduce pollution, preserves our biosphere, protects
endangered species, and also helps to preserve the earth’s natural resources.
Planting tress is also important because trees give off oxygen that we need to
breath, trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion
and pollution in our waterways. In addition, it reduce the effects of flooding in our
community. Lastly many species wildlife depend on trees for habitat and trees
provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals that’s why we
can say that it is really essential in our environment.
