PUBLIC NOTICE
The Managements of Non-Minority Medical and Dental Colleges are hereby informed they should follow the Rules and Regulations for filling up of the seats under C Category (Management Quota) as per Rule 6(C) of G.O Ms. No.136 HM & FW (E1) Department dated 30-04-2007, G.O Ms. No.144 HM & FW (E1) Department, dated 15-07-2009 and as per orders of the Honble High Court in W.P No.18073/2008, Dated 29-09-2008 and Rules and Regulations of the University and Government from time to time while admitting the candidates under C Category. They should follow the following guide lines strictly with out fail.

1. Individual college Management shall give a Notification in a leading news


paper inviting the prospective candidates to approach the college office for the applications for the said course.

2. The college office shall invariably issue applications to all the candidates who
request for applications.

3. The filled in applications along with the necessary certificates shall be


submitted by the candidates to the college office within the prescribed time period fixed by the college office.

4. The college shall invariably issue a receipt of the application received. 5. The college shall scrutinize all the applications received with regard to
eligibility in respect of the candidates should have passed two years intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Bio Technology, at the qualifying examination.

6. The college shall prepare a Merit list of all candidates who have applied to the
college based on the marks obtained in the three subjects mentioned in instructions (5) above.

7. The Merit list prepared by the college shall be sent to the Dr. NTRUHS for
scrutiny and approval.

8. The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences shall verify the Merit list and
accord approval.

9. The Merit list approved by the Dr. NTRUHS containing the names of the
applicants and the marks obtained by them shall be prominently displayed on the notice board of the college.

10. Admissions shall be made by the college only on the basis of the Merit list
approved by the Dr. NTRUHS. Further, it is to inform that as per G.O Ms. No.232 HM & FW (E1) Department dated 11-07-2007 the Un- Aided Non-Minority Medical and Dental colleges shall follow the following guide lines in respect of collecting the Fee from the students i) The Management shall not charge any capitation fee and their shall not be any profeteering. Except the above fee fixed by the Government, no other amount, either directly or indirectly, can be changed unauthorisedly or illegally by the management. If any such other amount is charged under any other head or guise (e.g. donation etc.) it would amount to charging of capitation fee. The surplus (profit) that is generated from the collection of the fee must be for the benefit of the Institution and cannot be diverted for other purpose or for personal gain. ii) The students admitted to the course during the academic year shall pay every year the same annual tuition fee as paid at the time of their admission till they complete the course.

iii) The students who were admitted to the course prior to the academic year shall continue to pay every year the same annual fee at the rate existing at the time of their admission till they complete the course. iv) The institutions shall collect the annual tuition fee every year in advance only for that particular year either in a lumpsum or in installments, if it so opts. v) The management of the institution is also informed that fixation of the fee structure by the Government will not by it self enable or permit the management to run the relevant Medical/Dental Courses if it is otherwise not duly recognized by the Government / MCI/ DCI at any relevant time.

Vi) The managements of Medical and Dental colleges shall collect the fees as per G.O.Ms. No. 162, HM & FW (E1) Dept., 20.07.2010 for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.

G.O.Ms.No.165,

HM & FW (E1) Dept., dated 20.07.2010, the Medical / Dental graduates passing out from the Govt. Medical and Dental colleges as well as Private Medical and Dental (Minority and Non-minority) colleges in the State shall serve one year Compulsory Rural Medical / Dental service. This orders shall apply to the candidates who are admitted from the academic year 2010-11.

The HM&FW (E1) Dept., have issued G.O.Ms.No.197, dated 07-07-2011 with regard to amendments to G.O.Ms.No.136, HM&FW (E1) Dept., dated 30-042007 with regard to educational qualifications.

The

managements

of

Un-Aided

Non-Minority

Medical

and

Dental

Professional Institutions in the state of affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences shall follow the above guidelines strictly for the academic year 2011-12 otherwise the necessary action will be initiated.
