Landslide
Soil erosion or landslide is also an environmental problem in brgy. tigbao because of the soft soil
and a strong source of water. Although there are some trees in our brgy., landslide cannot be
avoided because of the soft soil and there are strong sources of water in some are which causes
the land to be softer. There are trees or specifically coconut trees planted near the high way but
it was cut because it would be more dangerous for the bypassers if a landslide occur.
–Generally, the environmental laws were implemented especially about the endangered species. The
LGU implemented those environmental laws at our barangay but implementing those laws are not
enough. The people should be given examples like to give some real punishments to those who disobey
in order for the people to follow the laws. And I believe that the LGU in our own barangay isn't doing
enough their job because I can see through my own eyes that even them neglect to follow the laws.
