Lesson: Freedom

● Let’s Ponder
Fill out the box with your ideas and reaction to the statement.
I AM FREE BECAUSE…

I’m free because I live also I explore the world, I can do what I desire, I can
speak what I want. God gave as free will to choose are fate, whenever its good or
bad, happy or unhappy we have freedom to change our life.

● If you were to make your own definition of “freedom”, what will it be?
- For me, freedom means that humans, as individuals, are capable of making
our own decisions. When nothing is preventing us from doing what we want,
we are said to be free. If we don't have any freedom, life will be meaningless.
If we don't have freedom, our lives will be dull, boring, and lack of thrill. We
should have freedom since it is an essential part of existence. Life should be
free, and we should be free as well. Have you ever had a romantic
relationship? How does it make you feel? Isn't this heaven on earth? What if
your parents had an arranged marriage with you and someone person you
don't love about? Wouldn't that be true that you'll feel awful? That is why
freedom is so important. Life would be a lot more difficult if we didn't have the
freedom to do what we desired. It's our life, so we should be the one in
charge of it. The word "freedom" may and will lead you along the right path
that will make you happy in life.

● Which do you believe is more important – individual freedom or the general

welfare of society?
- I strongly feel in the wellbeing of society and its growth. I constantly consider
once I act, particularly in public, being a person and a member of society, I like to
be in a peaceful environment, not only for myself but also for others. If I pick
individual liberty, it will be a tragedy and lead to a much more serious situation.
● In what situations can freedom be abused? In those cases, would it be
acceptable to restrict that freedom?
- First and foremost, when we say freedom, it means that you are free to do
whatever you like. When people injure others, they misuse their freedom by
using it for their personal gain and disrespecting the feelings of others. We did
not obstruct liberation in today's society, and this is why we made justice; it is
freedom, but it is subject to certain limitations and rules.

● How can you use your free will to ensure that your actions are morally
responsible?
- Although I have free will, I'll consider how someone will think if I take the action I
want to take. Will I earn from it? Are there any concerns I should ask myself
before doing anything? Will it hurt people's lives? Is it really necessary? Why
should I do it, and why should I not? As a result, I will continue willing to accept
responsibility.

● Write a reflection paper regarding a significant choice you made in your life
and describe how this affected you.
- We can both live a rich and empty one. But it's mostly a consequence of
decision. It's our choice what we get out of life. We have freedom to do or choose
whatever we desire. Our greatest strength is the ability to control our fate. Our
right to choose is our gift, and no one can take it away from us. When we
understand the unchangeable principles under which human freedom of choice
operates, the actuality of the power that comes with it becomes clear.
