As a product of Province of La Union, I am very well proud to say my opinion or information about our

cultures. One of the best culture here in La Union is that they believe in this saying "Even it pours a gold
of bars, if you are a lazy man, you could not pick anything at all” or in Ilocano we say it “Uray agtudo ti
balitok nu ti tao ket sadot madinto pulos makapidot” and this saying means a lot not only for us who
lives in La Union but in general because it really says that you must work really hard so that you can
reach the things that you are wishing for. This culture promotes morality by making the people of La
Union more dedicated to their everyday life, they have the courage to do more not only for them but to
help others who needs assist. Knowing this kind of cultures will make you realize how life is hard and still
you want to continue your journey. I can say that there are many cultures here in La Union that
promotes morality but I chose this for you to know the value of diligence.
