AN ORDER PLACING SITIO MALARAYAP, BARANGAY PINAGSABANGAN
I,MUNICIPALITY OF NAUJAN, ORIENTAL MINDORO UNDER SPECIAL CONCERN
LOCKDOWN (SCL) TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

WHEREAS, the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is a global pandemic affecting different

nations around the world with exponential growth on the number of affected individuals;

WHEREAS, despite the measures implemented by the national government, the Provincial
Government of Oriental Mindoro and the LGU of Naujan, Oriental Mindoro, one local resident (an OFW)
tested positive for Coronavirus while undergoing medical check-up at a private hospital in Manila
preparatory for his travel abroad;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid OFW only learned the result of his Coronavirus test when he was
already with his family and friends in our municipality thus, the need for a targeted testing and massive
contact tracing among individuals he was able to mingle/socialize with to contain the virus;

WHEREAS, per recommendation of the Municipal Health Officer of this municipality, there is a
need to place under lockdown the area where the positively-tested OFW lives;

WHEREAS, for the safety and protection of residents, particularly of Barangay Pinagsabangan I,
there is a need to restrict the ingress and egress of people within the borders of Sitio Malarayap,
Pinagsabangan I to prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the Municipality of
Naujan;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, MARK N. MARCOS, Municipal Mayor, by virtue of the powers

vested in me by law, do hereby place Sitio Malarayap, Pinagsabangan I, this municipality under Special
Concern Lockdown (SCL) for a period of one (1) week starting July 19, 2020 to prevent the spread of
COVID-19 threat.

Repealing Clause. All other executive issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof which are
inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order are hereby repealed, amended or modified
accordingly.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain enforced for a period of one
(1) week unless sooner revoked or amended. Let copies of this Order be furnished all concerned for their
information, guidance and action.

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER EXTENDING THE SPECIAL CONCERN LOCKDOWN (SCL) OF SITIO

MALARAYAP, BARANGAY PINAGSABANGAN I, MUNICIPALITY OF NAUJAN, ORIENTAL
MINDORO TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

WHEREAS, the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is a global pandemic affecting different nations
around the world with exponential growth on the number of affected individuals;

WHEREAS, one local resident of Naujan, Oriental Mindoro categorized as Authorized Person
Outside Residence (APOR) tested positive for Coronavirus Disease while undergoing medical check-up at a
private hospital in Manila preparatory for his travel abroad;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid OFW only learned the result of his Coronavirus test when he was already
with his family and friends in our municipality particularly at Sitio Malarayap, Pinagsabangan I, Naujan,
Oriental Mindoro thus, the need for a targeted testing and massive contact tracing among individuals he was
able to mingle/socialize with to contain the virus;

WHEREAS, on July 19, 2020 and per recommendation of Naujan Municipal Health Officer, Sitio
Malarayap, Pinagsabangan I, was placed under Special Concern Lockdown (SCL) to give way for massive
contact tracing and targeted testing;

WHEREAS, to date, the results of the swab conducted on the exposed individuals are not yet
available as the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital ran out of cartridges needed to test the same;

WHEREAS, in view of foregoing circumstances and per recommendation of the Municipal Health
Officer (MHO) and the head of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO)
with notification to the Regional Office of Civil Defense (OCD), there is a need to extend the Special Concern
Lockdown (SCL) at Sitio Malarayap, Pinagsabangan I to prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-
19) in the Municipality of Naujan;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, MARK N. MARCOS, Municipal Mayor, by virtue of the powers vested in
me by law, do hereby place Sitio Malarayap, Pinagsabangan I, this municipality under extended Special
Concern Lockdown (SCL) for another period of one (1) week starting July 26, 2020 to prevent the spread of
COVID-19.

Repealing Clause. All other executive issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof which are
inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order are hereby repealed, amended or modified
accordingly.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately and shall remain enforced for a period of one (1)
week unless sooner revoked or amended. Let copies of this Order be furnished all concerned for their
information, guidance and action.
