PLANT BASE
2 Build 2 hexagons with 12
1 Bend 12 of the 3-leg connectors yellow straws

3 Take 6 orange straws, fit on the 4 Attach second hexagon

3-leg connectors of 1 hexagon to orange straws to close
the base
5 Build the top of base 6 Take 3 of the 1-leg connectors,
click into the holes
Take 3 yellow straws and fit on a 3-leg
connector then fit 3 of the 1-leg
connectors on ends

7 Click the top part on 8 At bottom of 1 part of base,

the base take 1 of the 1-leg connectors
and click into the hole of the
3-leg connector

9 Take 2 of the 1-leg connectors, 10 Build a beam with 1 orange straw

bend the head

11 Connect the beam to 12 Optional: lock all

the coloumn of the connector joints to
base secure
13 Attach the micro:bit board into 14 Fit the servo mounts on the
the Robotics board servo motor

MOVING MECHANISM
17 Click the servo motor and the Robotics Make a moving joint with 3 of the

straw and 1 pink straw on legs

19 Slide a 1-leg connector on the yellow 20 Attach the servo arm to the motor
straw, fit the 1-leg servo arm after and slide the pink straw through
then slide the 1-leg connector over the hole of the 3-leg connector of
the arm to lock top
21 Take 3 of 3-leg connectors, 22 Take a 1-leg connector, fit in the pink
slide along the pink straw straw, and lock the 3-leg connectors on
leg inside pink straw

23 Take 12 of the 1-leg connectors and 6 24 Slide the beams on the yellow
orange straws to build 6 beams straws on top of base so they
are free to move

PLANT LEAVES
22 Take 3 of the 1-leg connectors, click 2
21 Take 6 of the 1-leg connectors, 6 of beams together, build 3 leaves
the 2-leg connectors, 6 orange straws
and 6 yellow straws, build 6 beams

23 Connect 1 leaf to the base 24 Attach another 2 leaves

and complete!
