V. REMARKS
Let the students recall the definition of geometric sequence and
ask them to give examples.
Activity 2: Fold Me Up
(Dual Activity)
Discuss the students’ answer to the given guide questions.
Present the formula in finding the nth term of geometric sequence.
Present illustrative examples where the unknown is the nth term
of geometric sequence.
Present illustrative examples where the unknown are the common
ratio and the number of terms in a geometric sequence.
Have a practice drill by giving the students lots of problems to be
solved.
Pose a real – life problem that can be solved applying the concept
of geometric sequence.
Let the students generalize the lesson/activity.
The formative assessment is a board work activity. The evaluation
is done whenever the students participate in a board work activity.
Mathematics 11 is taken only for four (4) times a week with one
(1 hr) per meeting. Friday is a non-meeting day with the class.
