On this day, most people from the undeveloped countryside are moving to big cities for their

livelihood and employment. The population density is increasing year after year. Living
expenses, pollution, and traffic congestion are the top 3 difficulties.
First, the cost of food, water, housing, and electricity in cities is much higher than in rural areas,
thus living in cities is also more expensive than living in a rural area. Due to the wealth
difference between the rich and the poor, poor people will confront many difficulties. Second,
Pollution is one of the acute issues of big cities. Because they are heavily populated, they are the
most affected by air pollution. Vehicles, industrial facilities, and many other sources exhaust flue
gas, which contributes to air pollution. In addition, many major urban regions suffer from noise
pollution. This is due to the fact that metropolitan roadways are overloaded with cars, buses, and
taxis, which raises the overall noise level. Congestion on the streets is just another drawback of
city living. The reasons for the creation of traffic jams in big cities are population. Traffic is the
biggest nightmare in the city. The majority of people choose private transportation over public
transportation. Thus, it is impossible to avoid traffic in cities.
To sum up,we can say that living in the city has some drawbacks but it does include some
benefits also. benefits such as living expenses, pollution, and traffic congestion. We have to
weigh the consequences of both the positive and negative aspects of urban life.
