Government of Pakistan Ministry of Energy Islamabad, the25 July, 2022 NOTIFICATION SRO ths (1/2022 - In pursuance of section 31 of the Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power Act, 1997 (XL of 1997), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made with immediate effect, in SRO No. 575(1)/2019 dated May 22, 2019, read with corrigendum dated September 23, 2019 and January 22, 2020, as amended and modified through SRO No, 1037(1)/2020 dated October 12, 2020, SRO 192(1)/2021 dated February 12, 2021, SRO No. 1429(1)/2021 dated November 05, 2021, SRO 4004(1y2022 dated July 07 2022 and SRO No. 8762019 dated May 22, 2019, namely: The Schedule of electricity tariff in the aforesaid notification no. 1037(1)/2020 dated October 12, 2020, along with further tariff rationalization by way of further adjustment notified by notification no. 192(IV/2021 dated February 12, 2021, SRO No. 4429(172021 dated November 05, 2021 and SRO No. 1004(172022 dated July 07, 2022 shall be substituted and superseded with the Schedule of Electricity Tariffs at +1 in pursuance of determination of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, as intimated vide decision dated July 22, 2022. Any difference between the rate recommended by NEPRA and the applicable consumer tariff notified in S-I, after accounting for the tariff adjustments in this notification shall be made available by way of subsidy.
