Eguna.
Coronavirus disease (COVID 19) has a major impacts around the world. According to WHO
(World Health Organizations), the majority of COVID-19 patients will have moderate to mild
symptoms and heal without additional care, but some people will get serious illnesses and need
to see a doctor. The COVID-19 epidemic has caused a shocking loss of life on a global scale and
poses an unprecedented threat to food systems, public health, and the workplace. One of those
affected by Covid-19 is the fisheries sectors, early in the spread of the pandemic, limitations
and market closures caused harm to fish and fish products that depend heavily on international
trade, while the closure of the food service industries had a significant negative impact on fresh
fish and shellfish supply chains. The implementation of lockdowns in the Philippines especially
in Navotas City has made the trading of fish logistically challenging, particularly in respect to
transportation and boundary restrictions.

ESCARAN
COVID-19 is a threat to the global community, challenging governments, health systems, and
institutions to effectively respond to it. Low- and middle-income countries with poor health
systems are especially vulnerable (Amit, Dayrit, & Pepito, 2019). During pandemic, many
establishments have closed because of the threat of COVID-19. it also affected the fish vendors
which most of them decided not to continue their business and stay at home. This provides a
proof that the economy of the Philippines decreased during pandemic and it affected mostly
the fish vendors.
ENRIQUEZ
Covid-19 had an influence on all sectors of the economy the fisheries and aquacultures sector in
particular has faced great difficulty mainly, due to the perishability of the product (Monirul, 2022).
Some people loss their job and opportunities. Covid-19 has a big impact in fish vendors, especially
for their income many fish vendors suffer in expenses because they of lack of salary. This it harder
for people to afford for their childs expenses. Even they suffered during the pandemic they still
managed to have income by risking their health to provide for their families.

Goals of the Impact of COVID-19 to fish vendors The situation is critical since several nations
have outright restrictions on vending. Street vendors claim that if they are unable to work, their
families will merely perish from hunger in the empty or closed cities. Many street vendors
voiced worry that they wouldn't be able to feed their families during the lockdown, which could
result in many people being hungry in the future. This study will serve as a benchmark in
contributing of ideas on how to improve the system of selling fishes by providing solutions in
order to lessen the impact of covid 19 at Agora Market. In addition, it will help to provide
insight about the preservation and to increase the income of fish vendors amidst pandemic,
when most customers choose to purchase prepared veggies from different establishments to
save money.

CALIDRO.
As research indicates that pandemics are reoccurring events, it is very likely that people will see
another outbreak in their lifetime. It is apparent to anyone that the current pandemic has had
enormous—but hopefully short-term—effects on all their lives. Countries have closed their
borders, limited citizen movement, and even kept people in quarantine inside their homes for
weeks. Some people are comfortable with having freedom of movement, therefore it is strange
that during the pandemic outbreak, people have been punished just for stepping outside.
Although the society seems to be very accepting of these limitations and condemn people who
do not follow the rules. Hence, it is a great lost for fish vendors. Cantonjos conduct this
research because The impacts of COVID-19 are both direct and indirect, the fishers were
affected directly due to lack of financiers and middlemen to transport their products, their
families suffer inadequate food and could barely teach their children at home both due to lack
of knowledge and also lack of additional finances for . The purpose of this research is to help
and recognize other people how difficult the life of fish vendors was during covid-19 because
they had a hard time selling fish due to the lockdown and also no investment and making it
difficult to transport their fish to sell and they also find it difficult to get a supply of fish to sell in
the market.

Researchers became curious about how the fish vendors cope with their business by using their
strategies despite of similarities of their products. This study aims to understand how to fish
vendors plan for their business management to draw in clients. This study also intends to
provide ideas to other fish vendors on how to run their businesses and to customers on how to
choose fish intelligently and freshly. This study connects to other knowledge by comprehending
how businesspeople typically carry out their goals, which is relevant to all entrepreneurs, not
just fish vendors at Agora Public Market. Researchers have already looked at this issue, and this
study will provide more details and help people learn more about business management
tactics.

One sector of the economy affected by the pandemic is the seafood industry. By how much the
epidemic affects the fish dealers, the researchers will know. The epidemic made it difficult for
fish vendors to operate, and they struggled greatly. Because people rely on them to perform
their duties, they are the ones that face the greatest challenges. For people to have food, fish is
marketed by fish vendors. The sacrifices made by the fish vendors, who put their health at risk
only to increase food production, must be understood.

This study aims to determine the impact of COVID-19 on fish vendors at Agora Market.
Furthermore, the researchers will answer the following questions based on the research
problems to provide concrete recommendations for the vendors, consumers, and future
researchers. This research is significant because it will help the community and the local
government unit to resolve the problem with the recommendations listed here. in addition to
this, this study will aid the problem of COVID-19 by diminishing all the possible solutions. Thus,
this will be helpful as it will serve as a guideline to both vendors and local government units.

Because of covid-19 many fish vendors had a hard time to sell their fish. Fish vendors are not
allowed to go outside, it means those fish vendors have no income. The big problem that fish vendors
is facing a tough time because they can't sell their fish. The fish vendors were the ones who are one
of the most affected by the health crisis due to the quarantines and lockdowns. They can't sell their
fish well because of the quarantine protocols.
CALIDRO

economic consequences Fisheries and supply chains of fresh fish have been hit hard as seafood
products are among the most highly traded foods nationwide. Fisheries were affected and this caused
a small income due to the pandemic ,a lot of fishers lost their job, therefore a lack of fish is very
disturbing to the fisheries company and to the all marino's. The reduction of fishing and fish farming
activities will reduce the amount of fish available for processing and trade. The good about it the
numbers/population of fish is increased because of the back to back lockdown. Fish exchange price

afford to buy.

large number of fish vendors are selling natural resources like fishery in wet markets. At the same
time, it makes a profit or generates income for the fish vendors. Fish vendors are essential to
sustaining our society's nutritional level and providing food security.

ESCARAN ( OPENING OF THE STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM)
This study intends to provide ideas for fish vendors to run their businesses. They are the ones that
face the greatest challenges during pandemic and they struggled a lot. It will help the fish vendors to
lessen the impact of covid 19 to their businesses. During the pandemic outbreak, people have been
fined only for going outside when some people are at ease with having freedom of movement. It is
important to comprehend the sacrifices made by the fish dealers, who risked their health solely to
raise the amount of food produced.

ENRIQUEZ

This study tries to comprehend how fish vendors prepare for the administration of their
businesses. This will be useful since it will act as a guide for fishmonger and regional
government agencies. The society appears to be fairly receptive of these restrictions and harsh on
those who break the rules. The fish sales system aims to mitigate the effects of COVID 19 at
Agora Market by offering remedies. It will contribute to shedding light on preservation and
raising the income of fish dealers.
