EVENT DESCRIPTION
Good quality relationships are critical to the development of social competence and are associated with
quality of life and mental health in youth. Through social distancing and isolation restrictions, the COVID‐19
pandemic has had an impact on the way in which youth socialize and communicate with their friends, peers,
and family. Our event, BAGONG SK NIGHT 2022; HALLOWEEN SPECIAL is the new way of celebrating
socialization in the new normal.

• The proposed event will be held on November 1 or 2, 2022 at Dasol Gymnasium, with an expected
180 SK members, 30 guests, 100-200 viewers and 150-160 participants of the following activities:
BATTLE OF THE BANDS, DANCE COMPETITION, COSTUME CONTEST AND RAFFLE.

• The event is about improving the well-being of every youth in the society, so they can reach their full
potential with cooperation, camaraderie, initiative, leadership, sharing, and discipline. Aiming social
development, inclusiveness, increased voice and participation.

• As SK members, one of the centers of participation we sworn to uphold to our duties and
responsibilities is to prioritize the social inclusiveness. Whereby, this event will benefit Dasol youths
by improving social skills, positive attitude, enhanced self-esteem, connection to peers, community
and build connections.

THE VENUE

Dasol Gymnasium was automatically chosen as the venue to the event. Whereas the location is the most
fitted place to conduct the activity as it is located at the center of our municipality and can also
accommodate many participants/viewers/expectators coming from the 18 barangays.
