Evaluation of Research title, reporting format and quality of abstract
The article is appropriate with the article content. The abstract of the article review be deficient
in some apparatus methodology the method may not be sufficient, suggestion, major findings
and conclusion of the study. Climate change due to greenhouse gas emissions is the most
important issue in the world, threatening our lives. Studies reveal that most emissions are caused
by transportation, manufacturing, and irregular population distribution across the world. This
study suggests the localization of recycling and manufacturing plastic parts and components by
additive manufacturing. Localization will decrease transportation, resulting in reduced energy
consumption and carbon emissions.
Problem statement, research objectives and proportion/hypothesis of the study
The article tries to show the fundamental standard at the back the article review by showing the
gap of the preceding schoolwork. The article tries to show the underlying principle behind the
article review by showing the gap of the previous study. The article does not clearly state
detailed objective and research question and premise. Additionally the articles does not put the
impartial separately and does not have specific objective and general objective even furthermore
the hypothesis of the article review also does not clearly cited in the article review and it does not
have research question. Because localization requires massive labour to work in AM
communities, the relocation of the workforce from overcrowded areas to AM communities is
crucial to support localization in rural areas. The strategic control model is expected to avoid the
abnormal movement of labour from rural to urban contexts, satisfying time demands and
mitigating problems.
Review of related Literature of the article
The study use updated data as reference and it have theoretical review and empirical review. The
article tries to show the gap of the study and have connection with statement of the problem.
Article review has conceptual frame work which is critical of such study. The article uses the
recent research done as the evidence and the way of the author summarize the empirical study is
in paying special concentration manner. Even though the article also have theoretical and
conceptual frame work that guide over the entire article. Furthermore the literature of the study
also has direct relationship with statement of the problem. It is highly recognized that the
localization of AM using recycled plastics can contribute to environmental protection by
reducing energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions due to less transportation. However,
the existing literature has failed to compare and conclude the energy consumption and
environmental impacts.
Evaluation of research Methodology
The article does not show the process of the work through methodology in clear white and black,
additionally the article use small number of sample size and the study does not include the
quantitative aspect of investigation which makes the article in complete. The way exploration
express some methodology is poor to some extent the article lacks research approach, research
design, sampling techniques, reliability, source of data and ethical consideration.
The methodologies have convinced weaknesses those are; the article does not indicate the
process of the work through methodology it’s not logical article, the article review used a
primary source of data. The research uses only primary source of data and does not check the
reliability and validly of the instrument of the data collection. To some extent, statistical
database, which makes the samples more representatives, but the small number of indicators,
remains a problem, and their reliability is not guaranteed. Research design of the article does not
described and justified, sampling techniques and sample size determination, method of data
collection, method of data analysis, target population of the study doesn’t expressed critically in
the article review.
Data analysis, presentation and interpretation of the article review
The article review finding is connected with the statistical databases, which have been a source
of a number of studies, but are motionless self-effacingly used. There is a need to raise the
reliability of statistical databases and expand their availability to research institutions and post-
graduate students of universities. This study ensures the AM sustainable manufacturing does not
cause any negative impact to sustainability instead, the model brings-in advantages to sustainable
environment, economies, and society simultaneously. However, as sustainability is a big scope, it
requires multi-disciplines investigation, and it shall not be in the scope of this study. In addition,
other areas such as applicability of the model, the standards, and the control metrics are new
areas that need separate studies.
Evaluation of conclusion and recommendation
The article review tries to put its main finding that answer the basic research question set above.
The article examination statistics are sufficiently and reinforced the assumption haggard by the
investigator and understandings reasonable, the assumptions of object reliant on a specific
hypothetical preparation. The article write does not cited the assumptions, the author do not
account for all of the data, or are portions left out and there is no alternative perspectives remain
unconsidered and there is no any logical flaws in the building of the quarrel.
A strategic control model can ease many AM bottlenecks, such as scale, speed, and traceability.
It provides a good opportunity to position AM as an industry mainstream and to shift AM’s
focus, shedding more light on the appropriate standards and technologies once the basic
requirements are achieved. Sustainability has become one of the top missions of this decade. A
disregard of any sub-discipline of sustainability can destroy the lives of millions. For this reason,
sustainable manufacturing is critical to all aspects, including the environment, economy, and
society. Transportation is identified as a key factor that affects sustainable manufacturing, and
localization is an effective method to minimize the impacts.
