Climate Change
Climate Change
"The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing
anything." -- Albert Einstein
Introduction
Climate change today is one of the biggest concerns of human beings on the planet and the effects of
climate change are undeniable and it may cause environmental, social, and economic threats to the
planet.
The climate change can be affected by natural factors, such as solar output, volcanic eruptions, and the
Earth’s orbit around the Sun.
Climate change can also be affected by human activities such as, deforestation, burning fossil fuels,
causing ozone hole, and building mass destructive weapons and using them on earth that causes a huge
radioactivity on earth.
There is a wide range of global threats that certainly require humanity’s urgent attention; these global
risks include water, food and energy security, population growth, infectious diseases, and international
security.
Climate change has the potential to impact global water supplies, agricultural production, human health,
and our energy infrastructure.

Conclusion
Climate is inherently variable. Climate changes from place to place and it varies with time. Climate
change today is one of the biggest concerns of human beings on the planet and the effects of climate
change are undeniable and it may cause environmental, social, and economic threats to the planet. The
climate change can be affected by natural factors, such as solar output, volcanic eruptions, and the
Earth’s orbit around the Sun. Also, climate change can be affected by human activities such as,
deforestation, burning fossil fuels, causing ozone hole, and building mass destructive weapons and using
them on earth that causes a huge radioactivity on earth. Currently, the threat of global climate change
does not threaten some nations to the extent of others. The scientific community has warned that if
greenhouse gas emissions keep increasing, the planet will reach a point of no return. Global warming
will become catastrophic and irreversible. Climate change is arguably the most severe challenge facing
this planet during the 21st century. Human interference with the climate system has increased the
global and annual mean air temperature at the Earth’s surface by roughly 0.8°C since the 19th century.
The year 2016 was the hottest one on record so far. This trend of increasing temperatures will continue
into the future: by 2100, the globe could warm by another 4 °C or so if emissions are not decisively
reduced within the next decades.
