Course group project for water desalination and purification

In a group choose one of the following:

1) Build a miniature scale plant for water desalination and/or purification process in the unit
operation laboratory.
2) Simulate water desalination and/or purification process using any appropriate simulation
software to simulate the mathematical model of the process

Notes
1. All inlet water properties should resemble either
a. Seawater properties in PortSudan
b. Nile water at Mogran Station
2. All produce water properties should resemble the Sudanese Standards for Drinking water
Quality
