I woke up early that morning to ride a van going to Dagupan. Today, our task is to
write a script for our segment about Today in History. For my script on day 1, Aug 1:
TODAY IN HISTORY.
Kamatayan ng dalawang Pangulo ng bansa ang ginugunita ngayong araw. Ang
pagpanaw ni Pangulong Manuel L. Quezon at ni Pangulong Corazon C. Aquino.
Si Pangulong Quezon ay nagsilbi bilang pangalawang Pangulo ng Pilipinas at
unang Pangulo ng Pamahalaang Commonwealth. Sa ilalim ng kanyang pamumuno
naitatag ang Tagalog bilang pambansang wika ng Pilipinas, kung kaya't siya rin ang
binansagang 'Ama ng Wikang Pambansa'. Sa kanyang administrasyon din pumutok
ang World War II sa Pilipinas. Pumanaw si Quezon sa Amerika dahil sa tuberkulosis.
Natatangi naman si Pangulong Ma. Corazon Aquino dahil siya ang unang
babaeng Pangulo ng Pilipinas. Naluklok siya noong 1986 matapos ang makasaysayang
EDSA People Power Revolution na siyang nagwakas sa dalawang dekadang
pamumuno ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos. Siya ay biyuda ni dating Senador Benigno
Aquino Jr. at ina ni dating Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino III.
Iyan ang ating today in history sa araw na ito mula sa news department Ng
Bombo Radyo Dagupan, bombo Alec Rallustian nag uulat para sa pambansang Radyo
Ng Pilipinas consistent number 1 sa boung lalawigan Ng pangasinan Basta Radyo
bombo.
After I did my script, I sent it to our group for approval.

August 2, 2022
I wake up early because our call time I n the station is 8 am. To start the day, I
prepare my 3-in-1 coffee to energize and boost my whole body because it is the first
day of our roving in some place here in Pangasinan.
At precisely nine o'clock in the morning, we arrived at our first destination,
Mangaldan, Pangasinan. Our task today is to have a live interview with ex-police
general Arturo Lomibao. The feeling is quite nervous and somehow excited for this kind
of interviewee. As we arrived at their location, Some of their staff approached us.
Minutes later, ex-general Lomibao meets us at His Nipa House to conduct our interview

with Him. Upon waiting for the time to air our lives, we just have a casual conversation
with the ex-general, some details from His job before, and He also taught us his
experience being the police general on His term. He also taught us some details about
how NPA started and worked before here in Pangasinan. How did the Philippine
National Police come up as an interior part of the Department of Interior and Local
Government and some more about the area of Police? After a few minutes, we are now
on our breaking news for the interview with the ex-police general Lomibao, and ask
some questions about the experiences and memories of working with former President
Fidel V. Ramos.
After lunch, we’re now going to our last destination, which is going to use and
gather some information about the former President. We visited the house of Fidel V.
Ramos in Asingan, Pangasinan. Still, unfortunately, we came late, and only the
grandson of the former president was the only person in the house. So, we just took
clips of the house and the picture of Fidel V. Ramos for our graphics. Later that moment,
we went to the market and found some people who knew former President Ramos and
asked what things they remembered about Fidel V. Ramos.

August 03, 2022

I woke up early this day because we are going roving to Lingayen. In the
morning, at precisely 9:30 am, we arrived at Magsaysay Elementary School to gather
some news about the “Brigada Eskwela” this school year 2022. We interviewed some
teachers and staff on how they started their “Brigada Eskwela” in their school. We also
ask how their school is prepared for the upcoming school year. Later that moment, we
also went to some schools, but they were already done with their cleaning session, so
we decided to go to our next task, gathering some graphics from all the offices in
Lingayen Capitol. We also record ourselves for standuppers.

August 04, 2022

This day was no roving day, so I stayed in our boarding house and did our script
for Today In History: day 04, August 04, 2022.
Agosto 4:Alam nyo ba na noong Agosto akwatro ng taong isang libot anim napu’t apat
ay nilakdaan ni Pangulong Diosdado Macapagal ang Batas Republika bilang apat na
libo’t anim napu’t anim, ito ay nagtatakda na sa Hunyo adose bilang Araw ng Kalayaan
ng Pilipinas.

Sa Kawit, Cavite naganao ang pinakahinihintay ng lahat ito ay ang pagdedeklara ng

Kalayaan ng Pilipinas pagkatapos ang digmaan sa Manila Bay na kinatalo naman ng
Espanya laban sa Amerika.
Ang deklarasyon ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas ay hindi kinilala ng Estados Unidos, Espanya
o anumang ibang bansa.
Ngunit kalaunan ay isinuko ng mga Espanyol ang Pilipinas sa Estados Unidos noong
1898 sa paglagda ng Treaty of Paris na nagtapos sa Digmaang Espanyol-Amerikano.
Ipinagkaloob ng Estados Unidos ang Kalayaan ng Pilipinas noong Hulyo 4, 1946 sa
Treaty of Manila.
Dati, mula 1946 hanggang 1964, ang Kalayaan ng Pilipinas ay ipinagdiriwang noong
Hulyo 4, ang petsa ng pagkakaloob ng kalayaan ng Pilipinas ng Estados Unidos noong
1946. Kasabay din ito ng pagdiriwang ng araw ng kalayaan ng US. Ngunit pagkatapos
ngang lakdaan ng Pangulong Diosdado Macapagal ang Batas Republika bilang apat na
libo’t anim napu’t anim, nagtatakda na ang araw ng Kalayaan ay sa petsa kada araw ng
Hunyo adose.

I woke up the day and started it by searching for information for the Today in
History segment and doing our script. For day 05, august 05, 2022:
Si Jose D. Avelino ay ipinanganak sa Calbayog, Samar noong Agosto 5, 1980.
Ang kanyang mga magulang ay sina Alfonsa Dera at Baltazar Avelino. Si Jose ay
kumuha (nag pursue) ng Bachelor of Arts degree sa Ateneo de Manila, kalaunan ay
nag-aral siya sa University of the Philippines kung saan nakapagtapos siya sa degree
ng Bachelor of Laws. Noong 1934, kumuha (nag take) siya ng Philippine bar at
nakapasa sa degree ng Master of Laws ng University of Santo Tomas.
Si Avelino ay naging municipal councilor sa kanyang bayan ng Calbayog noong
1917 hanggang 1919. Pagkatapos ng dalawang taon, inihalal siyang kinatawan sa
unang distrito sa Samar ng House of the Representatives at naglingkod siya hanggang
sa taong 1928.
Sa parehong taon, nahalal siya sa mga upuan ng mga Senado kung saan ay
kinakatawan siya ng ika-siyam na Senatorial District mula 1928 hanggang 1934.
Nahalal siyang muli sa pangalawang termino, at sa panahon ng ika-sampung Philippine

Legislature, naglingkod siya bilang Majority Floor Leader. Sa pagiging magaling niya sa
argumento, inihalal siya ng mga kasamahan sa senado bilang President Pro-Tempore
pagkatapos ay bilang Senate President.
Nagretiro si Avelino mula sa kanyang publikong buhay at inilaan ang kanyang
sarili sa pagsasanay sa batas hanggang sa siya ay pumanaw.

August 06, 2022

I woke up this day at precisely 5 am because I would be going to have two rides
from our boarding to the station. So after I had prepared myself, I arrived at the station
at precisely 6:15 am. We went to Malimgas market at 8:30 am and prepared for our
event in the market called “Enhanced Swerte Sa Palengke,” which means there will be
a raffle promo for the people in Malimgas market to get a chance to win some price. We
assist the staff of Bombo Radyo accompanied by Star FM. We help and invite some
people to join the event. We also come up with some games like the Videoke challenge
and “Bunong Braso.” After that, we finally go to the best part of the event, which is they
will pick for the ruffle draw and win 500 pesos each. Seeing the eyes of the people
winning in that event is so precious. Even if it is a small amount of money, they are
delighted and touched my heart that even in small things you offer to people, they will
put so much effort into it, and they are very thankful for it.
