III. PROBLEM PRESENTED:

Wilfredo Surigao sought assistance from the office with regards to the fire incident happened last December
18, 2020 at around 6:45pm at P-7 Barangay 9, Malaybalay, Bukidnon. According to the authorities, the cause of the
incident is a faulty wiring that consumed the family’s belongings such as Cellphones, Clothings and Kitchen Wares. The
damaged cost is estimated to ₱25,000.00. Client seeks financial assistance to help them recover from the incident.

IV. FAMILY BACKGROUND AND ECONOMIC STATUS:

The client is the breadwinner in the family. He has a utility in provice earning ₱10,000 a month The family has
no other financial resources. Thus, the income of the family is just enough to sustain their daily needs. Presently, the
family resides temporarily in the barangay 9 covered court.

V. FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATION:

Based on the assessment made by the worker, it was found out that client and his family is financially in crisis
situation. Therefore, client is recommended to avail financial assistance for fire victims expenses under AIFCS in the
amount of EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (₱8,000.00)
